All the talking heads, especially political ones, are grandstanding for their political point of view as it concerns the tragedy at Annunciation School. Certainly laws are needed to curtail and censor the various medias’ ability to radicalize the young and vulnerable in violent and godless ideologies. Certainly common sense approach to the gun culture in this country is needed with certain military weapons outlawed for the general public.
Clergy, of course, should focus on the spiritual and moral issues involved and what radicalizes the mentally ill and mentally weak to embrace satanic ideologies spewed forth in the media, traditional and otherwise, as it concerns sexual immorality and its various disorders as well as violence and hatred. The Church must also point to Jesus who alone saves us from the disorders in this world. More often than not, the salvation of Jesus takes place outside of this world’s time and place. It occurs after our earthly course is completed, no matter how we die, in the life that only Jesus makes possible for us in heaven, only Jesus!
And adolescent young people seduced by the various sexual and godless ideologies out there, are enabled by general society in their sick choices rather than offering them therapy for their mental and sexual confusion. All of these mass shooters are mentally imbalanced in some way and radicalized not by the Gospel, not by the faith and morals of Jesus and His Church but by various communities that want validation for their godless ways.
Msgr. Rossetti is well known by the Catholic clergy and hits the nail on the head. He is a priest-psychiatrist and has treated Catholic priests for their various disorders which have caused such harm to the people of God.
