I remembered today an old lecture/talk by the late Michael Davies on the Mass, the TLM, as the most beautiful thing this side of heaven.

So I googled:
The Mass the most beautiful thing this side of heaven.

And found at Sensus Fidelium an 18 minute YouTube clip that included one of the best sermons I have heard on the Mass in 50 years.

"Each morning at Holy Mass, the Bread of Life will help the body as well as the soul, if we have faith. If we but touch the hem of his garment.... and how much more have we than that! We can find him at every moment, on the altar. Be with Him there. Better than all books! Thank the Trinity over and over again for this Gift. Rest in His presence, and my guardian angel will adore Him for me. Silence."

"A single Mass offered for oneself during life may be worth more than a thousand celebrated for the same intention after death."

Anselm of Canterbury.

Thank God for this and other similar Catholic blogs!

At Patheos.com one can occasionally find a good or at least OK Catholic article but many can be drivel, ie nonsense.
With Patheos’ Catholic articles I gave up today after reading the titles of their latest “Catholic” articles by various Catholic journalists and bloggers which HONESTLY and literally included such titles as:

The Gospel of St Paul vs The Gospel of Jesus;
Why would a sinless Mary offer sacrifices?
What do Jesus and Dracula have in common? (I am not joking..) and
The Image of God: Body Image struggles during a Pandemic.

Through October 2020 : a hundred plus leading journalists and political commentators:

Like 2018, another great blue wave is building! How big will the blue wave in November 2020 be?!
How far will this blue wave go?

November 2020: I guessed the pollsters and many of us missed something.

- Yes, they missed something AGAIN and or were they reporting what they wanted to happen....ignoring, for example, the shy Trump voter factor? Or the fear of voting for Kamala Harris to be president within 2 years after the obvious and progressing mental decline of Biden is acknowledged?

- or was the great blue wave overcome by prayer?
