Prayer after an election
God of all nations,
Father of the human family,
we give you thanks for the freedom we exercise
and the many blessings of democracy we enjoy
in these United States of America.
We ask for your protection and guidance
for all who devote themselves to the common good,
working for justice and peace at home and around the world.
We lift up all our duly elected leaders and public servants,
those who will serve us, in particular, President Elect Joseph Biden, Vice President Elect Kamala Harris as well as legislators and judges,
those in the military and law enforcement.
Heal us from our differences and unite us, O Lord,
with a common purpose, dedication, and commitment to achieve liberty and justice in the years ahead for all people,
and especially those who are most vulnerable in our midst in particular the unborn. Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

I am sorry, Father, but my more specific prayer is that the Senate and the Supreme Court are able and willing for the next 4 years to paralyse, as much as possible, Biden/Harris attempts to implement policies that will very likely harm the USA and its citizens and possibly harm many other people around the world.
Slow down, Father. The election is NOT over. I suggest you look at Fr. Frank Pavone's latest video. The electors will finalize the election and that doesn't happen until December 14. The MEDIA has declared Biden the winner and we all know how unbiased THEY are.
This is going to court. It isn't over. Not yet. And Trump is a stand-up guy. He isn't' backing down and more and more evidence of Electoral Fraud keeps coming to light.
I know the name-calling and the gloating and the "stop it and admit you're beaten" stuff is going to follow this. Go ahead and gloat. I like it when people I disagree with are drunk on their own presumption.

2 random thoughts: How many Americans are now just looking forward to putting all this behind them and getting back to watching sport on TV? And I wonder how Biden and Harris will manage the COVID-19 crisis over the coming year?

Thank you anonymous. Yes, under a Kamala dictatorship, we can fully expect the unborn to all be declared infected with Covid 19, thereby necessitating their abortion. There will also be a special executive order declaring Catholics to be infected and all Catholic churches to be superspreader locations that must be closed down and burned "in the interest of public safety." Of course Pope Francis is completely on board with this progressive and woke initiative.

One unpleasant inconvenient fact: News networks don't certify elections. The Electoral College votes on December 14. Before then, you can expect...well, I won't bother. You know it all, so I'll just let you watch it unfold from your tower of moral superiority.

1.....this will not be all behind us as various Catholic institutions will be fighting to protect religious liberty that the left will attack.....I gave up pro sports with their anti police agenda and dishonoring the American flag.
2..... harris and biden will use covid to see how far they can get away with suppressing rights. Maybe use it as a gauge to go after the 2nd amendment.

Sophia here: This premature-and it's indeed just that- calling of an election by the media arm of the Democrat Party and its candidate is a diabolical plot to give the impression that this is indeed a settled matter. Therefore if after all the fraud and "irregularities" are resolved, President Trump is the actual winner, the revolutionary/anarchist arm (BLM and Antifa) of the Democrat Party as well as criminals can immediately swing into action doing what they do best- attacking police and other law enforcement officers, rioting, looting, destroying & burning down people's businesses and other property, terrorizing and attacking innocent people for the sole offense of having white skin! Because after all, they had already been told that former VP Biden had won, so clearly, in their eyes, it was being stolen from him and them! If the Biden team is actually officially declared the winner it will be a tragedy for this nation and indeed for the rest of the world, but at least it would be an official declaration! What the Democrats could not achieve by a proven Russia collusion hoax or a fraudulent impeachment, they have decided to just grab for themselves.
