WINOOSKI, Vt. (WCAX) - Taylor Small is declaring victory, making her Vermont’s first openly transgender state legislator.
Small ran for the Vermont House to represent the Chittenden 6-7 district of Winooski.
Small had the Progressive and Democrat nomination.
She came in second behind incumbent Democrat Hal Colston for the two-seat district.
I just read in the local papers this morning that two black gay men and three “transgendered women” were elected to office in certain parts of the USA. Should the headline simply said that two gay black men and three gay white men were elected to office?
But this raises serious questions in terms of the ideology and farce of “transgenderism.” Does the man who says he is a woman and may have had surgery that becomes like a permanent costume of illusion of femaleism, have an obligation, a moral duty to inform their straight men friends that they only play the part of a female using costumes and/or surgery to create the illusion of being female?
Is it possible that a man who thinks he is marrying an actual female might be duped into marrying a man who is a great illusion artist even resorting to surgery to cement the illusion? Could this kind of farce, as immoral as it is and unethical in the secular sense too, lead to a farcical “marriage” in the Catholic Church where the actual groom, a straight male, thinks he is marrying an actual female who in fact is only playing that part in a great farce? And the poor priest or deacon who prepares such a couple for Catholic nuptials is completely unaware of it as it the straight male who is being duped?
But this reveals how illogical and hypocritical the leftist ideology slugging crowd is. They forbid you to change your your race, for example a white person putting on black face or vice versa. That is a mortal sin and you will be “black’ balled to say the least if you did it way back in the past or contemplate it today.
But let me pose this interesting conundrum. What if a transgendered female (who is a man, btw) marries a transgendered male (who is a female, btw) in the Catholic Church and the couple knows each other’s disguises, is that a sacramental marriage?????? Can it be allowed?????? Keep in mind they are both free to marry and it is a biological man and a biological woman.
What conundrum!

I update my post at the end. But this points out the illogical and hypocritical ideology of the left. You can mock a real woman by dressing up as a transvestite and depict the woman in the most exaggerated sense. But a white man or woman can’t put on black face and mock a black person in the most exaggerated and stereotypical way. You can have Rue Paul on the Price is Right and other mainstream networks who does this to woman but it would be forbidden for a white transvestite to dress up as a ridiculous looking female black woman.
Of course it makes no sense and they know it, but political power prevails.

As my friend said “I have no problem really if an individual for whatever reason wants to identity as a wolf, a goat or a cat BUT it will be a different thing altogether if we in the future were to be compelled to accept as a reality a neighbour is really a wolf or cat or a goat.”
By the way, OTHERKIN can also identify as angels, demons or dragons.

As a parent of elementary school kids, it is maddening to watch a perfectly innocuous show and be inundated by advertisements for products or other programs that are too mature and depraved. Advertisements with homosexuals for HIV medicine, homosexuals on TV shows, horror movies, overly sexualized heterosexual couples. I have to watch shows with them all the time because I can't trust the commercials. We can't even watch the news. They'll pop up something homosexuals or sex crimes when you least expect it and repeat the words 'sex' in one way or another multiple times. The only things we can watch is sports and cooking shows and the cooking shows have tons of homosexuals, tattoos, crazy hair colors.
I wonder about families that don't have any filters for their children. They're going to be the huge majority in the future and all this material will desensitize them so much they won't know or care right from wrong.
Qwikness, yesterday morning at 4:45 AM as I was driving to go exercise, I had my XM radio tuned to CNN (which I wanted to hear their take on the elections). A commercial came on with two women talking and one touting how wonderful "self-love" was and how she gets wonderful items discreetly in the mail to help her to show love to herself. Of course all of this was coded language and you know what they meant, sex toys for private gratification and this advertised on a national news show early in the morning. Not sure if this was an XM thing or an actual advertisement for CNN. I don't think small children would have gotten the true message but certainly teenagers 13 and up!

I don't know the real statistics on this, but all of the trans people I have personally met are biologically straight and therefore consider themselves to be gay since they prefer the company of the gender they identify as. That is, the men who identify as woman prefer women and the women who identify as men prefer men.
It is a mess, but remember, before a couple's marriage is witnessed by a Catholic cleric, baptismal records for each must be obtained. That should avert the farce you describe. Same with any woman, who is surgically altered to appear male, seeking ordination.
Which means, keep an eye on baptismal records. Sooner or later, someone is going to say they should be altered when someone declares him/herself to be a different sex. In the U.S., the First Amendment should be an effective shield to prevent any government mandate to make such a change. But I wonder about countries where the government and the Church are intermingled?
Even if baptismal records were altered, it would take a real conspiracy to conceal a bride or groom's past from the cleric, and if such a fraud were executed, it would become public soon thereafter -- people would talk. Such concealment would be vastly harder with someone seeking ordination. Of course, if the cleric officiating at a wedding or an ordination were in on the conspiracy, it would be easier, but still, it would almost inevitably become public.
All that said, in these crazy times, I expect someone to give it a try at some point. Don't you?

Medical experiments on people were common in the 1930’s 40’s 50’s, both in the USA and in Germany (WW2-Hitler). Doctors didn’t want to admit they were practicing unethically then, and they are still in denial today. Politicians celebrate those MD’s today, Biden’s (the progressive leader) used “listen to the scientists” as his rally cry. If I were to call those doctors butchers, and their surgery mutilation, I would be fired.
Fr. Fox, I was way ahead of my time and today's time. One of my parishioners in another land and parish married an unbaptized "woman" he met when in a far off distant land. They were prepared for marriage in the far off land but I celebrated the marriage in his home parish where I was pastor. He had no clue his new wife was a transgendered woman who had surgery to perpetual the illusion and farce that he was a she. Eventually the Catholic found out and there was little or no problem in getting the Church to "annul" this "marriage." It was impossible to tell with this person clothed and evidently unclothed.

When I read this Blog entry, I thought for sure I would have to inform readers about the existence of "transpecies" and other "otherkin" phenomena but I was impressed that someone here had already found out about that. So all that's left for me to do is to introduce to you is the phenomenon of the "Transabled", whereby healthy people self-identify as disabled and go as far as to have themselves blinded or have limbs removed!
Also please note that the sex on birth certificates and driver's license can be changed and some states are now even issuing "gender neutral" birth certificates!
There is no doubt that there is a complete repudiation of God and His established Laws of Nature! Elections have consequences!

To the first anonymous that inquired about trans-racial. Did you not hear the story about Rachel Dolezal, the blond haired blue eyed lady who tanned and dyed herself enough to become the head of a NAACP chapter? They didn't know. I knew of a case where a man was transitioning through illusion and surgery as well as hormonal therapy into what would look like a woman. He loves women, not men and told the person counseling him that when he became a "woman" he would be a lesbian.
This kind of delusional thinking and mutilation of one's body needs serious psycho-therapy.

I have read that “trans activists” do not in any way represent all transexuals.
This does not surprise me when LGBT activists have the power to kick Germaine Greer, a giant of feminism, and a fairly woke and fairly leftist, J K Rowling and other similar people out of the Church of feminism for being “transphobic”.
Also, “trans activists” can and have many times labelled people who really are transexuals as “transphobic” because trans people often or at least at times do not embrace the whole package of warped ideology put forward by “trans activists”....
I have read that when “intersectionality” comes into play at feminist conferences it can be both silly and revealing; for example, the feminist women can break up into a number of groups based on various identities; for example, overweight women, but then they need to break up further into heterosexual, homosexual and non binary groups, and black lesbians start together in a group, but then they feel the need to split into groups of those who have white or black partners; and new groups can form, like feminist women who have allergies, and they can claim to be oppressed by those at the conference who use hairspray and or have dry cleaned clothes......
In the end, hopefully, if we don’t kill each other first, intersectional feminists and others will eventually realise that the truest and ultimate minority is the individual.

The only people who could be fooled by that are people who are marrying unwisely under ANY circumstances -- one drunken night in Las Vegas, for example. At least the Church's process of marriage prep should insure that the two people somewhat know each other.
