Keep in mind, that His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV sent a video message to this conference for its opening day. So His Holiness would know that the TLM is being celebrated for young Catholics in the USA. And from the photos below, the church was packed with faithful young Catholics! Praised be Jesus Christ.
I hope more pictures or videos of the Mass will be given to the cardinals by the Pope for them to meditate upon!
From Infovaticano:
The auxiliary bishop of Boston, Monsignor Robert P. Reed celebrated on January 2, a Solemn Pontifical Mass according to the traditional Roman rite in the framework of the SEEK Conference 2026, one of the most relevant Catholic youth gatherings in the United States.
The celebration took place at 2:15 p.m. in the church of St. Patrick, located in Columbus, Ohio, and features the liturgical assistance of the clergy of the Fraternidad Sacerdotal de San Pedro (FSSP), an institute dedicated to the celebration of traditional liturgy in full communion with the Church.

Te Deum Laudamous!
Deo Gratias!
There's your future.
January 1-5, 2026A.D. Conference in Columbus, OH.
"SEEK is a 5-day-long conference with thousands of Catholics across the country and the world. Centered around growing closer to the Lord, the conference provides ample opportunities for learning about how to be a faithful disciple of Jesus in the every day.
"Filled with many talks, breakout sessions, daily Mass, and adoration, this week will leave you fueled with the fire of the Holy Spirit to share the gospel with everyone you encounter."

Pope Leo XIV delivered a holy, stellar message to the SEEK Conference. He presented Jesus Christ to the conference's holy participants. His Holiness exhorted the participants to embrace priestly, religious, as well as lay vocations.
May the SEEK participants render unto Pope Leo XIV their unconditional reverence and obedience.
Unwavering communion with Pope Leo XIV ensures our unwavering communion with God.
Pax.

— Pope Leo XIV, Christmas Greetings to the Curia:
"... I wish first of all to remember my beloved predecessor, Pope Francis, who this year concluded his earthly life."
"His prophetic voice, pastoral style and rich magisterium have marked the Church’s journey in recent years, encouraging us above all to place God’s mercy at the center, to give renewed impetus to evangelization, and to be a joyful Church, welcoming to all and attentive to the poorest."
"Please note the abundance of young men in attendance!"
Well, yeah, since "The SEEK Conference, hosted by FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students), welcomes Catholics of all ages but primarily targets young adults..."
At a conference that targets young adults you were expecting to see old fogies like you and me?
Did you hear tonight's concert from the Sistine Chapel? I was thrilled at the end when the Pope led the singing of the Pater noster and everyone joined in vigorously.
MT Suit would you apply that standard to the Borgia popes? Lol
More young men than young women. The masculine ethos of the TLM attracts young boys to it and subsequently young men to the priesthood in a greater percentage than the feminized NO.
K, I could see you more readily at one of Fr. Martin, SJ, LGBT's affairs! You really come across as a snarky, crabby old guy who is bitter that others can't see your magnificence!
Deo gratias that in my diocese, as well as additional dioceses throughout the world (such as in Africa, Asia), the Holy Mass of Pope Saint Paul VI draws numerous holy men into the priesthood.
As to the so-called "feminized NO":
Pope Leo XIV allows for altar girls, female EMs, women who perform the readings...
His Holiness has the authority to end that.
Pax.

I hope they don’t give the pope unconditional reverence and obedience, as that’s not what Catholics do in relation to their pope. For an ordinary Catholic to give anyone but God unconditional reverence and obedience is little short of idolatry. One line from a newspaper interview with a former pope notwithstanding—though MT loves quoting that statement as if it were papal magisterium, unlike some, selective pre-papal statements of Pope Benedict.

Young women don’t count as young adults, apparently. Can’t say I’m surprised given the mild, charitable corrections handed from priest to laity of the female persuasion administered hereabouts of late.

MT Suit,
Data all shows that diocese which have encouraged the TLM have tye highest number of vocations and ordinations so quit your lying! Supply the name of your Diocese so we can verify your claims.
Our genial host has stated that the Novus Bogus is a feminized Rite and the TLM a masculine one. You are unable to refute that!
Ol' Nickki - Fr. ALLAN McDonald commented on the young MEN in attendance. Since you missed that, here's what he posted: "Please note the abundance of young men in attendance!"
See that word in his post- "men"?
So my comment was nothing about women "not counting" as young adults.
Sophia made a silly comment about a proclamation being made by a priest in the chasuble he wore. The gender of the person making that assertion is moot.
In years past and I expect this year as well, Fr. Almeter (pastor of Most Holy Trinity, Augusta GA) has played videos from the Seek conferences for our weekly men’s group gathering (ages ~10 to ~80) that follows an early morning holy hour. While the target audience for the Seek conferences is younger men and women, I have found the messages in the talks to be inspirational and applicable for all ages. I recall past talks by Fr. Mike Schmitz and Sister Mary Grace having been exceptionally uplifting.
