Yes, we have a couple of unhinged ones here when it comes to President Trump. President Trump has the personality of a typical New York businessmen or lawyer. I dealt with them throughout my legal career, something these simpletons have not. IN the meantime, Trump is restoring peace through power, he's kicking murderers, thieves and rapists who vote Dem and live off of the taxpayer, lowering fuel costs through his "drill, baby drill" energy policies, lowering rents and mortgage rates, etc. K must have choked when he saw the auto workers in Michigan cheering the President on! But "abortion uber alles" and illegal alien moochers is all the Dems have.

But you don’t play golf and Mark O’Meara, if he were really serious, should have given you the Green Jacket, the real trophy of Masters’ Champions. President Trump is working for peace and freedom as well as electoral justice, in Venezuela and so many other places worldwide, so he deserves the medal and the gift bearer believes it too and she should know.

Still, I suppose one advantage of Machado giving Trump her Nobel medal, and (as many see it) doing so transactionally, is that it has spared Norway from being threatened with very high tariffs unless the Nobel Committee gives it to Trump next time around—a fate that may still await countries that do not support his attempted Greenlandgrab.
Surely, I cannot be alone here in seeing the crass indecency of openly lobbying for the Nobel Peace Prize. But it is in keeping with the crass indecency of so much else in this indecent and corrupt Administration—and someone here called Biden a grifter! Good grief, Biden couldn’t hold a candle to the corruption, graft, and grift of Trump and his cronies.
And please don’t try to justify everything this Administration does by saying the people voted for it. The people do not get to decide to allow corrupt, lawless, and unconstitutional behavior by those they elect. That’s why we have laws and the Constitution in the first place: to check the unruly passions of the mob and their leaders who whip them up. But to help ensure this guardrail holds, every member of the legal profession needs to step up and remember the oath they took when admitted to the Bar:

And no, TJM, New York businessmen and their lawyers are not exempt, as Rudy Guiliani has very justifiably now learned to his cost. And not even Trump’s corrupt pardon can reverse his fall from grace and decency. Guiliani would have done well to heed the sentiments later expressed by Pope Leo in his recent address to the Ambassadors:
“[T]he earthly city is centered on pride and self-love (amor sui), on the thirst for worldly power and glory that leads to destruction.”

And, to prove his point, a White House spokesperson, probably oblivious to the irony, responded with the following slur: “[T]his judge is broadcasting his intent to engage in left-wing activism against the democratically-elected President of the United States.” Because, of course, everyone who opposes anything Trump does, even his lawless behavior, must, by definition, be a “left-wing activist.” And so it begins, as history shows.
So yes Father McDonald, I readily admit to suffering from TDS—Truth and Decency Syndrome. I hope, and believe, that you do too.
