Is there a forum for Priests and servers of the NO focused on sharing ideas of how to offer it with a traditional reverence? I went to St John the Evangelist again in Logan OH and am very happy there. You and Fr Zadroga should share ideas.

Looks like almost every church office/sacristy I've ever been in. EXCEPT the sacristy at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville where I had a wedding last July. The place was I-M-M-A-C-U-L-A-T-E with nothing stacked here or there, no stacks of whatnot on the floor or counters. I was astounded! The cathedral is a beautiful Italianate building that has, interestingly enough, no stained glass windows. There are window-sized stations of the cross painted on the walls where windows might have been. There are clerestory windows with hints of color in geometric shapes.

Please show how liberal you are by learning to celebrate the TLM. In 50 years, it will probably be the only form of Mass Catholics will be attending because the Novus Bogus has been such a bust!

I grew up with the “New Mass”. The Mass was in the midst of being changed/revised when I was born so I don’t know anything different. I’m comfortable with it, it comforts me, it fortifies me. I just wish that the communion rails would come back, I wish the Mass were celebrated as written and NOT how some priest thinks he can improve it. I wish beautiful vestments and incense would be used. I wish the sanctuaries were uncluttered. I wish the priest would celebrate with more reverence. And the Latin…I wish that certain parts would always be in Latin….Sanctus, Angus Dei, Gloria, and the Pater Noster when sung. And the altar servers need to actually know what they are doing. Liturgical abuse MUST be addressed and stopped. If these small things were done it would go a long way in ending the liturgy wars.
