EVEN CATHOLIC ANCHORS ON FOX NEWS DECRY THE CHURCH DOING WHAT CHRIST HIMSELF EXPECTS THE CHURCH TO DO

This is a new form of anti-Catholicism that comes from radical right wing politics espoused by some Catholics including Church Militant. Unfortunately, many of these people also love the Traditional Latin Mass and that could be just another reason for the crackdown these communities by the pope and bishops.

I have more respect for MTG for speaking her mind than all the parseltounge out of the US bishops conference. Just maybe it is time to realize that what she said is the opinion of a lot of Catholics, not just those attached to the TLM.for example

The Egyptian,

Well when you are shedding home grown Catholics you need to import them. What these economic simpletons don’t realize is that Hispanics born in the US or who have come legally are as sick and tired of these illegal aliens as non Hispanic Americans

You respect her "... for speaking her mind..."

Her Mind:

Jews used space alsers to start wild fires in California.

"There was MASS voter fraud on a scale that should terrify every American regardless of political party."

Regarding Georgia elections: ""You (GA Secty of State Brad Raffensperger) ran a Nov 3rd election that was stolen bc you idiots at the SOS mailed out millions of absentee ballots to any one and everyone while GA was an open state."

And

"Georgia state leaders refused to listen to Georgia tax payers. They refused to change anything after allowing @realDonaldTrump's election to be stolen. And they refused to #StopTheSteaI with our two senate seats."

"ZERO Democrats have condemned the political violence of BLM/Antifa terrorists that lasted the entirety of 2020. Instead, each of them fanned the flames of hate." They, including Pelosi, Biden, and senior members of the Democratic Party.

Regarding Putin: "Now they’re going on about Russia and Vladimir Putin is Hitler—and they say that’s not a good thing.“ Guess what, it's NOT a good thing.

etc etc.

Her mind is the problem. It is a) not being used or b) full of nonsense or c) both.

So the modernist priest has decided to go political again and demonstrate how effectively the left can mock those they disagree with, based on the assumption (reinforced by all "respectable" news media) that the 2020 presidential election was clean.

I found a few questions that, perhaps in his leftist superiority cloud, he might deign to come down off of to answer for us:

Why did the vote counting stop on election night in several swing states?

Why did the vote counting delays only happen in swing states?

Why were election observers barred from entering vote counting stations in swing states?

Why did Trey Trainor, the chair of the Federal Election Commission, declare on TV that election "observers have not been allowed into the polling locations in a meaningful way" and that “if they're not, the law is not being followed, making this an illegitimate election” on November 6th, 2020?

Why are any electronic voting machines hooked up to the Internet?

Why were votes from the 2020 election sent overseas for “processing” and “tabulation” purposes?

Why would votes from 30 states in America be processed by a Canadian firm?

Why would the company that “tabulates” votes for 800 American counties be a recently bankrupt Barcelona-based firm with the Department of Defense as its best-known client?

Why would America’s electronic voting machines be under the ownership of citizens from foreign nations?

Why are so many electronic voting machine companies owned by shell companies?

Why did it take Maricopa County (Arizona) two weeks to count its votes?

Why did an audit expert find 74,000 more votes were counted in Maricopa County (Arizona) than were mailed out?

Why did Mark Zuckerberg fork over $400 million to his personal charity to run a parallel private election system in 2020?

Why did the Special Counsel in Wisconsin just release a report that called Zuckerberg’s donations in five Wisconsin counties a classic case of bribery?

Why did AG Merrick Garland at Biden’s Department of Justice threaten to interfere in a post-election audit conducted in Arizona — and authorized by the state of Arizona?

Why did a county circuit court judge in Wisconsin rule that the Wisconsin Elections Commission had run the 2020 election in an illegal manner?

Why have the voting machine companies refused to comply with subpoenas from the state officials of Wisconsin?

Why do the voting machine companies refuse to have their machines inspected even though these machines are used in public elections?

Why is a federal judge in Georgia refusing to release a report by a cybersecurity expert who inspected a Dominion machine and found it vulnerable to hacking and manipulation of the votes?

Why has Dominion Voting Systems refused to comply with the post-election audit in Arizona — which was ordered by the State of Arizona itself?

Why are more than 300,000 ballot transfer forms missing in Georgia’s 2020 election?

Why did Dominion Voting Systems fail to show up and answer questions from the elected officials of Pennsylvania after the 2020 election?

Why do 204,430 mail-in ballots in Arizona have mismatched signatures?

Why do 740,000 mail-in ballots in Arizona have broken chain of custody?

Why did the Wisconsin Special Counsel find that 50 nursing homes had 100% voter turnout and that cheating was widespread?

The proposed "Disinformation" department our current "president" is offering is just a new angle on censorship and let's call censorship for what it is: COWARDICE.

Censors obliterate messages because they fear it might expose them or make people think or offer competition for their ideas or persuade someone to think differently, but ultimately, censorship is based on fear. Biden is yellow. His mouthpieces on the air are yellow. And I am growing increasingly inclined to think that everyone who dismisses people like Marjorie Taylor Greene because of her refusal to buckle to political correctness is also yellow.

Yellow.

Actually, they AREN'T your question, but copied and pasted from various sources. One of them is the blog "Clever Journeys." https://cleverjourneys.com/2022/03/21/25-big-questions-democrats-and-media-cant-answer-about-the-2020-election/

A sampling: "Why were votes from the 2020 election sent overseas for “processing” and “tabulation” purposes?" They weren't. "There’s currently no evidence that U.S. votes were sent to another country and counted there. Data from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and VerifiedVoting, a nonpartisan nonprofit that studies election systems and their security, show that most counties process and count their ballots within the county. They also show a series of redundancies that would allow any vote tampering to be caught." Source: KARE Television, Minneapolis.

"Why did the vote counting stop on election night in several swing states?" They didn't.

Many of these so-called questions sound oh, so ominous, don't they?

They seem to have hit the "stolen election" lie right on the proverbial head, don't they?

They aren't and they don't.

First, the claim is that they haven't been answered. That's a lie. They have been answered.

Second, they make claims that seem EXPLOSIVE, don't they? Someone examined a Dominion voting machine and "found it vulnerable to hacking and manipulation of the votes." Yes, it MAY be vulnerable. And, yes, you, Thomas, MAY be hit by a falling piece of space debris on your way to church next Sunday.

Regarding Georgia voting machines: https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/17/georgia-says-voting-machine-audit-found-no-evidence-of-fraud-tampering.html

Over and over and over the frightening, ominous claims are made. Over and over and over the clams are shown to have no basis.

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

Of course, FRMJK, the topic of my post is the link I post which is anti-Catholicism in terms of the Church's moral responsibilty to feed and cloth refugees and other poor people, regardless of their status of being legal or illegal. The same for prison ministries of the Church and all kinds of authoritative Social Teachings of various papal magisteriums. The fact that a politician is ascribing to Catholic Charities or bishops or any Catholic who assists the poor as being demonic is the point.

But if we want to get political, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and other Catholics who deny their faith and promote the demonic as it concerns the murder of babies pre-born and post born, that's goes against the Church's social teachings. Pope Francis is right, these kinds of people are like hit men who enable the killing of innocents. Any political party that advocates of segregation, infanticide, the murder of the sick and elderly should be labeled as anti Catholic, like the KKK or the Masons and Catholics who ascribe to these parties should be threatened with excommunication.

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

Fr. ALLAN McDonald - The topic of your post is the comment of Marjorie Taylor Greene. She's not anti-Catholic, she's ignorant and she's reactionary.. She's a typical reactionary non-thinker, particularly in that she is PROUD of being a non-thinker. Actually knowing something doesn't matter to her. And, sadly, it doesn't matter to many of the people who vote for her.

Thomas Garrett said...

"Over and over and over the frightening, ominous claims are made. Over and over and over the clams are shown to have no basis."

Oh yes. The legacy media so tells us and the limousine elites and their less-privileged enablers imbibe it all as they keep telling us to shut up.

I would like to introduce these "Smarter than thou" types to a forgotten word:

ALLEGED.
Its variants are, "allegedly" "allege" "allegations" and so forth.

In 2000 when the state of Florida was fighting about who won the election, the media, not quite entirely bought and paid for by the globalists and liberal elites still had enough integrity to use that word. They spoke of how both sides "alleged" fraudulent methods of counting votes. We heard variations of that word for two weeks before the Supreme Court decided the outcome.

How much has changed in 20 years. Just a couple of days after the election, the legacy media in unison, in lockstep, in the most shameless, condescending display of Groupthink in U.S. history, proclaimed that all allegations of fraud were "baseless".

There's just one problem: Any such allegations can't be proven or disproven in just a few days. And such allegations need the assistance of the courts when the accused parties don't wish to cooperate in such investigations. And in just about every case dismissed by our courts, the dismissals were not based on the merits of evidence, because the evidence was never permitted to be introduced in the first place. No. The dismissals were based on legal maneuvering and fine points of law argued to keep such evidence out of the court record and silence the opposition.

This election is the wound that will not heal and that scares the daylights out of the YELLOW apologists for failed liberalism. Since America no longer buys the lies, and we have the spectre of media Groupthink's lock now threatened by a maverick billionaire opening up a one-sided forum, we have to do new things now: We have appropriated the Soviet vocabulary of "disinformation". Face it: It's easier to win when you force all your opponents to forfeit than it is to win by actually beating them in competition.

Leftists fear debate so they take the cheapest, underhanded ways of silencing it. If you oppose ANYTHING about BLM, you are a racist--no debate--it's already decided. If you oppose ANYTHING about the LGBTQNOP agenda, you are filled with "hate". Again, no discussion, just name-calling and societal rejection. All this from the spoiled brats who cried for years about intolerance.

They have all become what they said that they hated.

Yellow is a rather transparent color.

Jerome Merwick said...

I'm a half-hearted fan of MTG, especially because she doesn't back down from the equally reactionary criticism she gets from the left.

However, I have to agree that she is a "non-thinker". I am as disgusted as she is with the leadership of the Church and I have spent most of my life feeling embarrassed about many (too many) of our bishops. But I'm not leaving. Just because THEY left the Church doesn't mean they're driving me out. More to the point, just because so many leaders in the Church set such a bad example or commit so many horrible sins or abuse their authority, just because of that it does NOT mean that the TRUTHS and authority of the faith are wrong.

Leaving the Church because of bad leaders is like saying you'll never eat in a restaurant again because the one you've been going to has bad waiters and waitresses.

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

Thomas - Lots of words in your 8:32 PM post above. Not a SINGLE one to back up the "allegations" you made at 12:51 PM above.

Although Fifty States, 29 of them headed by Republicans, certified the election results, you just KNOW the election was rigged and stolen.

Although 60 courts have rejected the claims of Trumpsters, you just KNOW the election was rigged and stolen.

No one is silencing you or anyone else. All you have to do - ALL YOU HAVE TO DO - is provide the evidence that ballots were sent overseas, that counting was stopped in swing states, that 300,000 ballot transfer form in Georgia are missing, etc, etc, etc.
Btw, signed affidavits making ALLEGATIONS are not evidence of a crime.

Jerome - MTG knows nothing about the leadership of the Church. She is ignorant. She's amateurishly tossing red meat to the voters, hoping to stoke their fears and anxieties in order to manipulate their thinking. She's a neo-Know-Nothing.

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

Catholics dissenting from the perennial magisterium of the Church, be they on the political right or the political left is the horrible legacy of Vatican II these past 60 years now. And that dissent, on the left, finds praise and enablement in the highest levels of the Church today.

MTG needs to be heard, just as Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden and the other dissenting Catholics. And then you have Germany and Catholic cardinals saying that Scripture and Tradition must now be supplanted by sociology and psychology as it concerns the complete destruction of Catholic gender identity and the Sacramental system of the Church built upon that identity and Christ as King, Priest and Prophet none Queen, Priestess and Prophetess. These people are advocating for a gender neutral society and sex with anything and anyone, to include children.

So, how dangerous is MTG compared to those dissenting Catholics.

TJM said...

Fr K - a Democrat operative masquerading as a Catholic priest - who supports abortion because that is the raison d’etre of the Democrat Party!

Thomas Garrett said...

You're right Father Kavanaugh, I haven't offered any proof here.

Nor did I ever make any claim that I "just know" that the election was "rigged and stolen." I wouldn't have the arrogance to make such a claim. No, the arrogance comes in the 48-hours-after-the-election claim that "THERE IS NO CREDIBLE EVIDENCE, THERE WILL BE NO CREDIBLE EVIDENCE, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE THAT THERE IS ANY CREDIBLE EVIDENCE AND YOU'D BETTER SHUT UP ABOUT ANY CREDIBLE EVIDENCE BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO THINK ABOUT SUCH A THING."

THAT is the message our walking-corpse in the White House, his Groupthink cronies and Groupthink media push.

And their credibility continues to wane, while more and more questions begin to surface, more films studying the election results continue to be released and more and more states move forward with investigations. All of which the Groupthink Legacy Media ignores, mocks or dismisses. THAT is "just knowing" that the election was completely legitimate. THAT is arrogance.

THAT is yellow, craven, cowardly censorship.

There's a couple of reasons that I am not offering any evidence. First, I don't have the time or interest to get into it and second, that was not even my point. My point is that Americans will never completely trust the results of that election so long as any questioning is suppressed or dismissed by the Groupthink Legacy Media and its enablers.

There IS one thing I think I can say with relative confidence, and even then, I make no claim of a dogmatic statement. When that election took place, the split between the two groups of voters was just about 50-50. However, the left's desperate measures to eliminate debate, eliminate free speech, eliminate competing ideas and eliminate questioning has been so overzealous and so draconian that they have devoured themselves. They have created huge groups of voters who are ready to turn against their former masters. Independents, Hispanics, Blacks and other once-reliable "Just tell them to vote" Democrats have all had HUGE plunges in support (and registration) of the great leftward leap of the Democratic Party. I could be wrong, because I don't "just know" anything.

But I can't wait to see the next election. Bloodbaths are always so dramatic.

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

Thomas - Again, no one is telling you to shut up. When you have evidence, not just allegations or assertions, of a rigged and stole election, let us know.

You are claiming to know the election was rigged and stolen. If you're not making that claim, why the list of already-answered questions above?

Meanwhile, not 48 hours, but 12,960 hours, that's 540 days, have passed as we await the results of the so-called investigations into the rigged and stolen election.

And what is there to show?

The only people they Democratic Party has enriched are its leaders: Insider Trading Nancy Pelosi, the Clintons of the Clinton Crime Foundation , the Obamas (living in 2 seaside mansions in violation of the Global Warming Religion, and the Bidens, of Hunter Biden laptop fame. Harry Truman used to call politicians like them, crooks.

Thomas Garrett said...

TJM,

All of your affirmations are obvious to anyone with a capacity for critical thought.

As regards this priest who cannot abide anyone asserting he could ever be wrong about anything--well, that's one of many symptoms of disordered thinking, which is clearly related to another disorder. If only he spent 1/10 as much energy defending the faith as he does defending his failed liberal politics, he could claim he was making a difference. As it stands now, he's merely a metaphor for the status quo of the current American priesthood--and the continued falling numbers of practicing Catholics speaks of how successful THAT has been. There's a Father K lurking in every novus ordo diocese in America--nay, in most parishes!

And to some degree he's right, nobody is telling me or other dissenters from the Groupthink narrative to shut up. No one needs to. The Groupthink Legacy Media (including MSNBC and its 12 viewers), Facebook, Twitter and most other "mainstream" sources have either silenced or ignored all dissent. Even the fall of the proposed CNN Plus reporters have buried the lead: It's merely another indication that the mainstream "media" is no longer mainstream and most Americans are not buying the narrative.

When liberals cannot win an honest debate, or, more to the point, when they are so cravenly yellow that they can't risk an honest debate, they will put words in our mouths, call us names and throw out every accusation they think can stick. In case you haven't noticed, the latest (and most desperate) of all is "white supremacy".

It's beginning to get boring. Let's just get on with the election and amputate the cancer before it spreads any further.

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

Thomas - You've been shown to be wrong in several of your assertions regarding the 2020 elections, but you cannot acknowledge your errors or being shown the facts. But, of course, I'm the one who can't "abide" be wrong...

I'm not right to "sone degree" about your not being silenced. It is 100% true. And I read nonsensical comments and assertions like yours every day on FaceBook. There's no "silencing" there. I'm not on Twitter, but when people re-post tweets to FaceBook that make the same assertions you make, I know that there is no silencing going on on that platform either.

In an honest debate, a person makes an assertion, saying something like 300,000 ballot transfers are missing in Georgia, and then backs it up with evidence. You offered no evidence. And then you ignored the statements by the election officials including the Secretary of State of Georgia, not to mention the Governor of Georgia, who certified the election. You're apparently not interested in "honest" debate. Rather, you want to trot of the same baseless assertions that float around the cybersphere.

TJM said...

Thomas Garrett,

Yet this priest likely still believes in the now discredited Russian Hoax the American Public had to put up with for 4 years, yet he cannot tolerate anyone questioning what went on in 2020, like the mysterious water issue in Atlanta late on election night when Biden ballots somehow emerged (fyi, in elections, ballots typically must be counted by the time the polls close or they are discarded). Not the sharpest knife in the shed. If he really believes a senile grifter, campaigning from his basement received more votes than Obama did in his first election to the presidency, he really is delusional. I doubt he will view the most recent movie that has called into question the efficacy of the 2020 election, because it is contra to the agenda. But think what he is really supporting. All of those evils I enumerated in my previous post, pretty sick for a Catholic priest. If I were his bishop, he would be gone, and an exorcism of his parish would be conducted.

Thomas Garrett said...

(sigh)

For the last time, I never made any assertion about the election being fixed with any certainty. (However, some interesting new things seem to be coming to light).

My point was about silencing debate and the fear that drives it. But feel free to keep putting words in my mouth, proving m point yet again. Why a priest spends so much time on Facebook is beyond me, given the state of our Church, but evidently you have never seen one of those "disinformation alerts" over someone's post, indicating you are likely looking only at pages that agree with the narrative you've bought. And that's certainly your privilege, but all of the outcry from people being silenced or censored on social media are not based on fiction. It's happened and on a wide scale. Your assertions are about as credible as the NEA's assertion that "no school teaches critical race theory".

BTW, thank you for reminding me of the other groupthink term I'd forgotten: "baseless". Now go ahead and let me have it with your enlightened last word on the subject!

TJM said...

Thomas Garrett,

A bishop or priest who votes for the Democratic Party is intellectually and morally bankrupt. They can't even claim they are for the little guy any more. Their feckless policies have ignited high gas prices, inflation, and love affair with illegal aliens actively harms the little guy and lowers their standard of living, but clueless clerics don't get that. But when you have sizeable incomes, live in gated communities with security you can afford to be callous. The French aristocrats were arrogant right up until the time they were walked into the tumbrills.

Fr. Michael J. Kavanaugh said...

Thomas - The list you posted above at 12:51 is ALL about the election being rigged and stolen. These "allegations" have, almost off of them, been answered directly by the people involved. So, if you don't believe it, why post them?

Who is "being silenced or censored on social media"? Remember, most social media is privatley owned and those who participate are expected to follow the rules/guildelines. A person can't claim that he/she is being "slienced" when his/her predicament is the direct result of his/her actions.

Thomas Garrett,

Lest you think I am beating a dead horse, this is another powerful reminder that the Democrat Party's raison d-etre is abortion, it controls all of their thinking. That a bishop or priest would consider voting Democrat is mind boggling and shows the extent of the moral and spiritual rot in the clergy. There is NO proportionate reason to vote Democrat. So here it is:

"The House Democrat’s campaign chief Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY) announced after Politico’s bombshell report on Monday night that abortion will “now” become the “central choice” in the November midterms and claimed that “only Democrats will protect our freedoms.” But despite the Democrat Party’s attempt to rile their base over the supposed “right” to end the lives of unborn children, Republican voters doubled Democrat voters in the Ohio gubernatorial primary just a day after the Supreme Court’s potential ruling was leaked."

I assume with a name like Patrick Maloney, this person is, or was, Catholic. Just another malformed, post Vatican II Catholic. Notice how Pope Francis has not uttered a word? You would think he would be thrilled and encouraging the opinion reversing Roe be published. But it's crickets. Now if the justices had ruled that the Green Energy Policies were now the law of the land, he would be doing cartwheels.

TJM said...

"A Catholic parish church in Boulder, Colorado was defaced with pro-abortion slogans the evening of May 3, marking the second time in less than a year that the parish has been targeted with pro-abortion graffiti.

The incident at Sacred Heart of Mary Parish coincides with the revelation May 2 of a leaked draft opinion from the U.S. Supreme Court, suggesting that the court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, which would allow states to curtail or outlaw abortion."

FYI, I doubt Republicans did this! And yet to hear the media tell it, all of the "hate" is on the Right.

As a Catholic knows, the Church respects the conscience of the individual in matters of voting. It is not the Church's place, nor that of any individual, to demand that a Catholic vote one way or another.

In a very good article on conscience and voting, SR. PATRICIA TALONE, RSM, vice president, mission services, at the Catholic Health Association, St. Louis, wrote:

"Even after a full and robust process of informing one's conscience, reviewing church teaching, analyzing consequences and engaging in deep, personal prayer, it is important to note that good and faith-filled persons can and will arrive at different conclusions. The committed citizen bears a responsibility to act in a way that is consistent with his or her conscience. Indeed, St. Thomas Aquinas advised that one cannot morally violate one's conscience."

Fr K,

LOL, a Sister of Mercy represents the leftwing of the Church. Strange you did not cite, Mother Teresa, not someone who has lived in comfort like your "Mercy" nun.

Strange, Pope Pius XI would NOT agree with you. He condemned the Nazis (Modern Democrat Party), Fascists (Modern Democrat Party) and the Communists (Modern Democrat Party). If he were alive today he would condemn the abortion, gay, and transgender loving Democrat Party and toss people like you out of the clergy.

The modern Democrat Party works against the poor and working class. They are only interested in raising funds off of abortion and billionaires like Bezos, Gates and Zuckerberg. Because you are protected against YOUR Party's disastrous economic policies as a "priest," you do not have to deal with rising gas prices and inflation like the lowly plebs. You are beyond corrupt. May God have mercy on your soul.

And this is for the simpleton bishops and priests who claim to be Catholic. This is the evil and tyrannical force YOU voted for.
