Nick Sandmann is the perfect example of what practicing, believing Catholics can expect to endure more frequently as our society (and Church) continue in their downward spiral. A close watching of the videotape makes it clear that this young man was targeted by his opponents and they went after him. This is what is especially noteworthy: As the older Indian man, Nathan Phillips, insisted on getting in Sandmann's face, Sandmann kept his mouth shut, but could not fight back the smile. The smile only betrayed what many of us experience as we watch militant leftist groups spew their wild ideas and make all sorts of noise: They are all inherently ridiculous. Deep down, it is almost impossible NOT to laugh at the sheer silliness and stupidity of radical environmentalists, angry feminists, BLM & Antifa groups acting so incredibly moronic in public and the fact that they insist on clinging to their faulty beliefs as they keep their fingers in their ears to any other voices--or worse yet attempt to silence any and all dissent. In the end, no matter how much harm you fools do, deep down, we are laughing at you and your foolishness. Yound Sandmann's face betrays what most of us feel: Ridicule for a multitude of fools who, ultimately, are to be pitied and certainly not to be respected.
Tragically, many priests had bishops no longer support the Faith and faithful Catholics. Yet they wonder why the numbers of practicing Catholics continue to shrink. My bad, they don’t wonder. They are in denial
