CNN, THE KING OF FAKE NEWS AND PARTIAL NEWS JUMPS THE SHARK

Don Lemmon just said this on CNN, although this is a paraphrase: Mr. Trump is going to Kenosha, Wisconsin but there are no plans for him to meet Jacob Blake's family. There is no evidence that the Blake family wants to meet with the President. The wild card is Jacob's mother. She is a God-fearing woman and has respect for the office of the presidency. She should considered very carefully if she plans to visit with the president.

In other words, a so-called CNN reporter, although, more accurately, an editorialist, warns the mother of Jacob Blake not to visit with the president. And the direct words that Lemmon used were "she is a God fearing Christian woman with respect for the office of the Presidency." These two characteristics were not being praised, but being used to show how awful being God fearing and having respect for the presidency is.

That coupled with the direct warning to her what it will mean if she does meet him gave me shivers almost like a Mafia boss wearing someone of consequences for this, that or the other.

On another story about the violence in Portland, another actual reporter for CNN reported that a man with "right wing" connections in Portland was murdered. However, there was not description of the murderer whatsoever and that the murderer executed the protester with leaning toward President Trump. How's that for bias.

The right wing Trump supporter is guilty of his own murder because he is a right wing Trump supporter.

(And at CBS's evening news just now, said the very same thing as the CNN reporter. A right wing man was killed by a man. No descrption of the murderer whatsoever or if he is a left wing agitator. )

More concerning for me as a Catholic blogger is the denigration of a black woman by using the term God-fearing Christian woman who also respects the office of the presidency as an insult or the reason she might act more reasonably that other family members associated with Jacob Blake.

Romulus Augustus here, Don Lemmon a journalist? What a complete and utter joke, Lemmon is a Left-Wing Democrat hack from top to bottom, as is Cuomo, Blitzer, Van Jones, Stelter, Tapper, Acosta, Cooper, let's make this easy CNN like MSNBC is the media arm of the Democrat party.... Lemmon and Cuomo were on last week and Lemmon was frantic that they could not hide the fact that the riots happening in Portland, Seattle, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, St. Louis are EFFECTING the poll numbers of Biden and Biden has to address the fact that these are not "peaceful protests" as CNN and MSNBC have been claiming for four solid months! And what happens today in Pennsylvania? Biden comes up from his basement and speaks in PA today and who does he blame for the riots? Come on now I will let you guess. Of course it's Trump's fault and his supporters who are burning, looting, ripping down statues, screaming at patrons at street cafes, accosting Rand Paul and his wife after leaving the RNC in D.C. last week who by the way narrowly escaped with their lives. And yesterday in Portland a Trump supporter named Jay Bishop was hunted down on the streets of Portland with the BLM mob after him screaming here is another here is another one, and two shots ring out and Jay Bishop lies DEAD in the street! Yes Joe Biden and the Democrat party this is your America you created this for the past 47 years and now you own it. Biden the good Catholic and man of the people, how utterly repulsive this man is and everything his party stands for.

Romulus Augustus here, another weekend in Chicago "47" people shot TEN murdered TEN! And ALL were African-American, New York over the weekend 57 shot FIVE dead including a mother of three. Fake news CNN cannot tell you this time that Trump is going to lose like they did in 2016, African-American support for Trump up 9 points since the RNC, Latino support up 15 points since the RNC, Independents, moderate Democrats, Asians, and yes even gays are voting for Trump in 2020.

You write biased, one-sided articles, post and re-post countless factual errors, refuse to admit you're wrong and go ballistic over opposing points of view. Tell me again why you have a problem with the media?

Romulus Augustus, well if you watch MSNBC and CNN of course your not going to see that over 50 people were shot and 10 murdered in Left-Wing Maryor Lori Lightfoots Chicago, including two police officers.

Headline:
"Trump says he's talked to Jacob Blake's family pastor
Family says they don't have a pastor"

I had hoped he would have met with his mother and her pastor. CNN's greatest fear was that that might happen since (unfortunately) she is a God fearing Christian woman who respects the office of the Presidency. I only saw a couple of short comments she made to the press and I saw her as a very sweet, conciliatory woman, concerned about the escalating violence and police officers who have a job and families too. I have no idea what the family dynamics of that family is or her role in that family today. Not clear.

Since by your own admission, you don't watch CNN, you don't have the slightest clue what they reported or what might be "their" greatest fear. It's wishful thinking on your part, calumny against the people who aren't afraid to tell the truth about Trump.

Right, anonymous, nobody ever talks about gun violence in Chicago (sarcasm alert). Fact is, we have a national gun violence problem and the Windy City is not immune. The Chicago metro area population is about the same size as Georgia's, which has a Republican governor. There were likely more people shot and killed in Georgia this weekend. But you won't hear about that from Trump or Fox News.

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

O contrare, I watch CNN, FOX, MSNBC, BBC and listen occasionally yo NPR.

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

CNN is based in Atlanta. If there was more gun violence there than Chicago, CNN has troops on the ground to report it as they dislike our Republican governor. But of course the mayor is a Democrat and they wouldn’t want to show her in a negative light.

You are filled with prejudice about people you know nothing about.

You might try watching CNN, MSNBC, BBC and NPR with the sound turned up.

They dislike our Republican governor."

Well...

CNN is based in Atlanta (Fulton County), where in the 2018 contest for governor, Abrams trounced Kemp by a 72-27 percent margin. Of the state's dozen or so largest counties, Fulton has long been the most reliably Democratic. Next-door DeKalb County is no slouch either---Abrams swept past Kemp there by 67 points, 83-16, though it has not voted as consistently Democratic as Fulton in terms of timeline. The last time Fulton voted Republican for president? Well, Jimmy Carter was governor---not president---and LBJ and Harry Truman were still alive, and Interstate 16, now connecting Macon and Savannah, was years away from completion. The year? None other than the 1972 Nixon landslide over McGovern. Trump will not carry Fulton, no matter what Romulus thinks...any more than he will carry Chatham County (Savannah).

My long-winded point, CNN is based in a city that has been heavily Democratic forever, or so it seems. That is bound to have some influence on their cov

Well Atlanta was Democrat during the Civil War and during the Jim Crow Era and supported the KKK, so no surprise Atlantans are sticking with their tradition

Romulus Augustus here, on another subject I hope some of you caught the singing of Ave Maria by Christoper Macchio at the RNC last week simply beautiful and yet is this another example of Trump being a "closet" Roman Catholic? So many things Trump has done such as going to the John Paul II Center in D.C. with Melania and kneeling on a Prei-Deux, corresponding with Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, Pope Francis blessing Melania Trump's Rosary a couple of years ago at the Vatican and now this, I'm praying he is going to convert soon.

"O contrare" Now, I ask you, isn't that just too precious for words?

"Au contraire," you say, "the editor was out that day."

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

O contrare, Trump and Fox say I have a right to my own truth and my own spelling. How many time must I repete that?

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

I hope you never take to task or is it tisk, our African Amerikan's verzon or dialect of English, especially the soutren dialect of both anglos and blacks.

Trump lied about talking to "their pastor."

He knows he lied, they know he lied, we know he lied, but Trump supporters say that lying is OK.

Atlanta supported the KKK? Yes, and so did much of the rest of Georgia---and even areas outside the South. Like Indiana, a mostly Protestant state which was a Klan stronghold in the 1920s. It was a Republican state back then, just like it mostly is today (LBJ and Obama are the only 2 Democratic presidential candidates to have carried the state since the Ike era, and those were pretty bad election cycles for Republicans).

Speaking of bad election cycles, wow, a Kennedy went down to defeat in Massachusetts yesterday, losing in the Democratic primary to ultrafarleft Ed Markey. Wow...a Kennedy losing. Maybe that state has woken up that dynasties end someday---heck, Alabama got tired of the Wallace clan after decades, and so did Georgia with the Talmadges and Tennessee with the Gores. Apparently this Kennedy was not progressive enough for that state in the battle between liberal and very liberal representation. Some choice, eh?!?
