ALTAR GATES REMOVED FROM SAINT JOSEPH CHURCH IN THE EARLY 1970'S RESTORED TO ORIGINAL SPLENDOR AS IS THE ALTAR RAILING REMOVED IN 2005!

Update! Syl Thuente, a parishioner, photo-shopped the restored gates and added a virtual marble top to it which in fact will be what the gates will look like when the marble top is actually installed a bit later! The wonders of technology!!!! How cool is this?

The gates are installed. All that is missing is the top piece which will be marble and be flush with and look like the top piece of the altar railing itself!

The gates of Heaven will swing open and you will feed God's people Bread from Heaven. Well done, Father MacDonald, well done!

The sign(s) are to remind people not to enter this area. We have a great number of tourists coming through the church and they would be all over the place, especially prior to the altar railing, these signs were needed. We're keeping them for the time being, but only when the church is not being used for liturgies.

Beautiful! I am sure, Father, that you and your parish will receive many blessings for this good work.

Deo gratias!
