Sunbeams of God’s Sacred Heart…
Minimized Stations of the Cross?
Oh, no, no, no, not by a long shot! But to the 1960's artistic mind, it is so clear what it is, so very clear.
Depiction of Mass?
A wrought iron depiction of the Last Supper.
The center cross represents Christ, the one on the far right is Judas, Peter is the upside cross on the left-hand side, and the bread and wine are in the middle.
The Last Supper it is! I thought Judas on the far right with the money bag would give it away!
And the beloved apostle has his head on Jesus’ shoulder!
Good catch with upside down cross, but there appears to be two on the left?
Two popes maybe? Kinda like what we have now. Lol.
Bee here:Looks like a trivet you'd put on the table to keep a hot casserole dish or pizza pan from burning the table or tablecloth.God bless.Bee
