CHIC FIL A, THANK AMERICANS FOR STANDING UP TO THE BULLIES AND EXERCISING THEIT RIGHT TO CHOOSE! EAT MOR CHIKEN

Details:  Calls for a boycott of the company began to spread nationwide earlier this decade after news of the company’s donations to organizations opposed to same-sex marriage. Since then, the chain has more than doubled its annual sales and opened nearly 700 more locations, growing to be one of the most popular fast-food restaurants in the nation. Founded in 1967 in the food court of suburban Atlanta mall by S. Truett Cathy, Chick-fil-A began to expand into brick and mortar restaurants in… Read more

I have gay friends who LOVE chick-f-a. I guess they didn't get the memo.

On another note, this ruling in Kalifornia is why Catholic bishops and priests who vote Dem are idiots:

Now if all of the people who threaten to move out of the US would do so, we would have a pretty good gig going on....

Frankly, I don't care much for Chick-Fil-A's food. I don't hate it either, but it's never my first choice and for one reason: lack of flavor. Maybe it's just my non-southern background, but I find their menu to be pretty bland.

HOWEVER, I cannot help but admire the Cathy family for taking a stand against the entire zeitgeist of today's degenerate, moral relativist culture. For that reason, I remain a patron. If my kids want a snack and suggest Chick Fil A, I don't refuse. The employees look and act a bit like Mormons, but what the heck--I like Mormons too! I always tell people that if we judged churches by the way their members behaved, the Mormons would be the only legitimate church! Their beliefs are garbage, but they put the rest of us to shame by the way they live.

When I read about certain cities denouncing Chick-Fil-A for their "hatefulness" and all the other hollow accusations, I want to laugh.

But I digress. I will support Chick Fil A no matter how bland their fare remains.

I am more a burgers guy than chicken, but I do like the waffle fries at Chick Fil A and the shakes. I hear the staff are always courteous and of course they serve anyone regardless of their beliefs. And they close on Sundays to give employees a well-deserved day off. What is not to like about them? OK, "progressives" don't like how the Cathy family does not embrace "anything goes" when it comes to the mores of society today.

And speaking of "anything goes", watching the local news in 30327 two nights ago, there was Nancy Pelosi giving an address at Cokie Roberts funeral in Washington, DC. Is this the same Nancy who has a 100 percent pro-abortion stance, and who does not believe marriage is between one man and one woman? Did she change her stances before "preaching" at the funeral. Of course I am well aware "who runs the show" up there this days, and it seems like "more of the same." If I were a bishop, non-pro-choice politician would have the floor at any diocesan church or facility. In fact, upon arriving at a new bishopric, I'd look up the voting records of known Catholic officials and then there probably would have to be some "come to Jesus" moments---for the politicians, not the bishop. You know, folks like Pelosi, Biden, Andrew Cuomo, whichever Kennedy is still in office in Massachusetts, Kristin Gillibrand, Robert Francis (Beto) O'Rourke, and so on...
