POPES, CARDINALS AND BISHOPS NEED TO ANSWER FOR THESE KINDS OF THINGS

I see a very concerned priest who represents the vast majority of concerned Catholics today. This man isn't a nutcase but a prophet. The truth will set you free.

The content of this interview might be disturbing for super-sensitive ears:

Fr. Kalchik comes across as a very sincere, holy priest and measured in all he says, but extremely trustworthy. I understand his consternation and Christ-like anger. I hope his cardinal will come to see that too.

The Father Kalchik interview

I watched this first thing this morning as did my wife. We agree. Cardinal Cupich needs to rethink this one. This sounds like a good priest who is trying to do right and doesn't want to submit to unjust "treatment" or punishment.

Michael Voris represents a particular viewpoint. His Vortex videos are mostly editorial in nature and can be sensationalist or bombastic (not all hard news facts). He has a checkered past and he has repented of that and has devoted his life to the work he does. While we may not always agree with his viewpoint or how he chooses to present it, I don't think he is crazy or bad. There is real value in some of his presentations. This interview is one such presentation.

Ok, thanks for posting this, very different from what you were saying yesterday.
Praying hard for all you faithful priests of the Lord...

And BTW, I’m not a subscriber to CM, so can’t view the interview—I guess you and JJ are, so perhaps you could give us non-subscribers the gist of what was said?

The vortex is available for free on You tube. I support Father Kalchik 100%. I have written Cupich on the matter as well as the thugs who accosted him at his parish. Church Militant is exposing the rot in the Church and this is a good thing, we need it all to come out now and lets have a cleansing. The only thing that the corrupt prelates fear is publicity. Does anyone think anything would have been done if there was no publicity over the scandal of the sex abuse cover up? Oh and how about how the Bishops are so tone deaf, the Atlanta Bishop has invited disgraced Father Martin to come to his Diocese and give homosexual talks in October, resulting in protests at the cathedral this past Sunday.

Anonymous at 12:34,
I do not subscribe to Church Militant. I can watch the morning Vortex each day and the Headline report they put out each afternoon for free on Youtube. I think anything else might require a subscription. The applicable Vortex episode is entitled, "The Vortex-A Priest in Hiding" (if you want to look it up on Youtube).

I have watched these videos more of late (along with others) since the Vigano testimony came out. I also recently purchased a copy of "The Dictator Pope" and read it last weekend after seeing the author's interview on Youtube ("An Interview With Henry Sire, Author of 'The Dictator Pope'"). A longtime parishioner had also previously read the e-book version and recommended it to me months ago but it took the release of the Vigano letter and seeing Mr. Sire's interview online to motivate me to read the book. I recommend his book as well.

Bee here:

I'm grateful for this video because now everyone can see Fr. Kalchik's manner and demeanor for themselves. As you can see, he is not some loon or wacko or even mentally unfit. He's just a nice, mild, normal, kind priest.

Again, I don't know why he decided to make the burning of this banner public and perhaps provoke a reaction, and by doing so place the Cardinal in a untenable situation, but according to the video Fr. Kalchik now says he was not told not to burn the banner, but to not have a public ceremony, which he obeyed.

Whatever the case I am sure Fr. Kalchik is persona non grata forever in the Archdiocese of Chicago.

This is all such a shame, but perhaps he just felt so strongly in defending the Church teachings that he took a stand, come what may. I don't honestly know.

I'm praying for him and everyone involved, including the Cardinal and the priests who delivered the Cardinal's message.

God bless.

Here is a homily Fr. Kalchik delivered on Sept. 16, the Sunday before he left Resurrection Parish. This was published on Church Militant. I found it by typing in Fr. Kalchik's name in the search engine. It's excellent.

Jacob,

The Atlanta archbishop presided over massive sex abuse scandals in Belleville, Illinois. I am shocked he didn't get the boot, let along a promotion.

"He's just a nice, mild, normal, …"

That's what people said about Ted Bundy.

Bee, thank you for the homily link. https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/how-do-we-win-a-spiritual-war
It is so good, one of the best things I’ve read in this mess! We’d give anything to have a such a holy priest here locally. Not one word has been uttered in our parish about the unholy mess of the past summer of shame, so we have to hunt online for help. Thanks again.

Is God not offended enough already? Is cynicism in you so deep that goodness and righteousness seems impossible to you?

Ei. Yi. Yi.

I'll pray for you, whoever you are. God knows Fr. Paul's heart. And He knows yours. He will judge. I hope you're ready for that.

God bless.

"Snark?"

"In 1971 Bundy took a job at Seattle’s Suicide Hotline crisis center where he met Ann Rule, a former Seattle Police Officer. She described him as “kind, solicitous, and empathetic.”

“He was described as intelligent, high achievement-oriented, had the acumen necessary for a political career, and he was loyal to a cause.”

"Ted Bundy dated my aunt," one person writes, astonishingly. "I grew up in Kirkland, Washington - which is right outside of Seattle. My aunt lived in Ballard at the time. They dated for a few months and it just sort of fell apart. She said that he was one of the most polite, nicest people that she had ever met."

NO, not snarky. Just fact.

You're a real . . Well, I haven't figured that out yet.

Wow! How can the church condone letting a gay banner hang in the sanctuary? That is absurd. This is a prime example of why men are hesitant to enter the priesthood. What do you do when your superiors clearly go against biblical teachings? You become an outcast. This is awful. This man seems concerned for the future of the church and his safety. He did what was right and in return he is threatened and lost his job, his home, his parish. What a horrible ruling. I have no words to express my disgust.

Althea, and it's a primary reason the pews are becoming emptier of men in general.

Wow!
To Bee, et al: I don’t any longer want to be confused with Anonymi who post garbage like Anon 4:53 and 8:59. I’m going to have to come up with a different sobriquet than “Anonymous”! I don’t have a google account and don’t want one so I may do what Bee does (-:
How about Jack here?

Anonymous Kavanaugh,

It is calumny to apply that to Father Paul. But it figures, you support the evil modern Democratic Party in its evil smear of your namesake, Justice Kavanaugh. This fight is all about abortion. You should hang your head in shame. I shan't speak to you again because you are beneath contempt.
