Folks, this is just the beginning. We will have a smaller Church when all is said and done. The Catholic Church's hierarchy will need to recover what was good prior to Vatican II and clean out the flith of the spirit of Vatican II. Vatican II was not and is not completely evil. We have to be careful not to throw out the baby with the bathwater when it comes to an Ecumenical Council, like the spirit of Vatican II hierarchy did with what was good in the Church prior to Vatican II. We don't want to repeat history again and try what has failed.
I grieve over lukewarm and on the fence Catholics who will become "nones" over all this. But also faithful Catholics who can't withstand this apocalypse.
The victims, though, are the ones most grieved.

While I agree that VII was not and is not completely evil, what we need and what we will likely get remain two very, very different things. There aren't enough Burkes, Sarahs, Morlinos etc. to overcome the "Spirit Of" viewpoint as well as the special interests, cliques and mafias be they lavender or, whatever other color that makes up the Vatican's current infestation.
Agree, the Church WILL ultimately become smaller as marginal Catholics looking for an excuse to exit drift away with the victims of these horrid crimes likely following close behind. Who will be left? Probably those in the smaller, stronger Church predicted by Benedict XVI. How will they be spiritually fed? For many, by the TLM which, to me, has a tremendous job ahead of it helping to undo so much of what has been done in the name of this "Spirit".
