Besides looking like Pope Benedict XVII celebrating Mass, Cardinal Pizzaballa forgoes using the silly free-standing altar in his titular church! Wow—what a bombshell! Elect him pope now!
On May 1st, the Feast Day of Saint Joseph the Worker, Cardinal Pizzaballa took Poseidon of his titular church of Sant’Onofrio, which was given to him upon his being made cardinal in the September 2023 consistory. Please note that the silly free-standing altar in this church is not used by the good Cardinal who is dressed for Mass and the style of the Modern Roman Missal Mass Pope Benedict XVI promoted until he was this liturgical tradition was canceled by Pope Francis while Benedict XVI was still living.
As Cardinal Pizzaballa is “papabile” this his significant as it is in the pope’s diocese! This is clearly a a liturgical statement being made by the good cardinal and the way he, as pope, would lead the Holy Roman Church in a recovery of its cultural liturgical heritage! Good for His Eminence!

As for anyone I'd root for, I'd want to know more as to attitudes and history etc etc as one Mass does not a Pope make... most all papabile are now posturing opposite of former stances, Herod's coinage reed in the wind.
I look forward to insight on the Cardinal from those insiders and their contacts as to who and what he truly is...a quick look at his bio shows he studied in Bologna, generally not good, was ordained OFM, generally not good, but was ordained by seemingly orthodox and conservative Biffi who had the Bologna helm at the time...
