Listen, anything that gets these pesky Millennials to pray is good news to me. Their immortal souls are in jeopardy otherwise, and not the game show for uncathechized youngsters! I just hope and pray to mother earth that it is Eco-friendly and made of sustainable, renewable resources and does not harm mother earth especially when Millenials get bored with it and discard it.

The Catholic church have launched an "eRosary" bracelet, to rich
etc-savvy millennials and help them learn "how to pray for peace in the
world" and learn about the gospel.
The wearable device, which costs 99 euro ($109, £85),connects to the
corresponding "Click to Pray eRosary" app and can be activated by making
the sign of a cross, similar to how Catholics begin praying the Rosary.
It is made up of 10 consecutive black agate and hematite rosary beads, plus a data-storing "smart cross."
The wearer can choose between three options to pray; the standard
rosary, a contemplative rosary or a thematic rosary, which will be
updated throughout the year.
It also has personalised religious content, as well as health tracking.

The traditional rosary is used to aid prayer and meditation. Its beads are counted as prayers are recited.
It "serves as a tool for learning how to pray the rosary for peace in the world," according to a news release from the Vatican.

The eRosary launch comes as October is the month of the rosary.
The gadget is water-resistant and compatible with Android and iOS smartphones.
The world’s poor will flock to it. I have one made of stainless steel and requires that I memorize about eight prayers. It is Earth friendly, too: It is powered by the Son.
The description makes it appear to be a rosary shaped fitbit. Will it prompt people to pray the way church bells once prompted entire towns to pray the Angelus? Maybe. However unlike church bells or a rosary (which is a sacramental linking one with literally hundreds of years of tradition and community) this device would seem to reduce religious practice to a solitary private observance akin to being prompted to take one's vitamins. Its a gimmick, and an expensive one at that.
Do you think Father that eventually the liturgical books will become obsolete and replaced by electronic tablets and smart phones? You don't need an expensive four volume breviary anymore. All you need is to access iBreviary.com on your iphone or android. Oh, and it already has a number of liturgical rites on it.

However, day after day, said prominent laymen spread lies designed to defame Popes, Cardinals, bishops, priests, fellow laymen...anybody who doesn't march in locks with said folks' views of Catholicism.
Corruption exists among Churchmen, religious, and laymen. Welcome to the Catholic Church.
If corruption has continued at the highest levels of the Church throughout its entire existence, as it certainly has, then it is not improper for laypeople to point that out in the present day, even if the corruption involves corruption among popes, cardinals, etc.
The thing that surprises me is people like yourself, Mark, who admit that corruption has existed and presently exists in the Church at the highest levels, but that it is improper for people to say anything about it. That is certainly nonsense.
Another thing that's nonsense is the idea that "followers of Jesus Christ" would overlook corruption simply because the corruption is engaged in by religious leaders. After all, Jesus Christ took his fight directly to the religious leaders of his day, railing against their corruption with righteous anger. Followers of Jesus Christ are not respecters of men, but followers of God: not sycophants to human sentiment, but warriors for Christ.

In light of the above, I don't believe that Cardinal Ratzinger's non-magisterial opinion as to the extent of the Holy Ghost's role in Papal Conclaves must be held by the Faithful.

Right wingers are those who desire, and for some reason, expect a HOLY Church. People like him are content with an un-holy Church.
So Mark, I guess idolatry was accepted in the early Church too. Enlighten us.

Cardinal Burke, for example, declared that the SSPX is in schism. That isn't Church teaching.

Nope. When my (the bishops) bishop teaches in unison with the Pope, then I obey said teaching(s).
