Alas because of the weather I could not make it to St. John Cantius for Palm Sunday but instead went to St. Odilo's for the EF. The "liberals" who post here would be apoplectic because there were well over 200 school age children at this Mass (12 altarboys which would really set their hair on fire).
We did not have one for "Palm Sunday Eve" at the cathedral of Georgia's "other archdiocese", but one was planned for Sunday morning with the archbishop. The 4pm Palm Sunday Eve Mass at Christ the King Cathedral may have set a record for brevity, just 40 minutes (no hymns, communion in one species and a three-minute homily made that possible). (They have a 5pm Mass also on Saturday---I don't know of any other parish in Atlanta which has 2 Saturday evening Masses, but they are a big parish---6,000 or so families---so lessens some of the crowding issues on Sundays). Went there as there was something going on in Augusta yesterday at 2604 Washington Road....
Well, Bee and TJM, I don’t envy your geography, but I surely do envy the liturgies you have available! We do not...out of 5 local churches, not one has an EF Mass.
Sad that you belong to faux catholic parishes. Pope Benedict's vision was that every parish would have at least 1 EF on Sunday. "Liberal" priests are too selfish to fulfill this desire.

Bee here:
We had snow. Heavy, slushy snow. Needless to say, the procession could not start outside as we usually do. What a day!
God bless.
