POST VATICAN II NARCISSISTIC HUBRIS OF A DISCREDITED ARCHBISHOP IN MILWAUKEE TO BE RECTIFIED? WE CAN ONLY PRAY!

I saw this commentary on Milwaukee’s cathedral on Facebook. If true, good news!

Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Widely considered the most infamous case of wreckovation, the Cathedral had survived a fire, the wild liturgical renewal of the 1970s, and had entered the new millennium. Not only was the renovation not asked for but numerous historical societies, the Vatican, and all of the parishioners got involved to stop this horror from taking place, sadly to no avail. Thankfully there are currently discussions to restore the Cathedral back to it's appearance before the early 2000s.

Weakland, what an appropriate name. Weak to vice, corrupted intellect, ideologue for ugliness and falsehood. May his opprobrious works quickly be undone!

Another horribly dated "modern art" exercise in kitsch.
With shrinking numbers of parishoners and collections, all the vandalism will never be repaired, even with 100% backing from parishoners...as well as much of the artwork outside the ability of artisans today, neber to be repeated...am suprised the Magna Carta, Declaration of Independence, and US Constitution survived....for now...as the entire culture has now been infected with iconoclasm.

Weakland played a large role in destroying the Latin Rite and his own Cathedral, a truly evil and narcissistic “man.” Instead of spending massive funds to wreckovate the Cathedral those funds could have been used for the poor, the favorite whine of alleged liberals! I have a personal friend who frequently dined with Weakland who shared with me that he was a true gourmand and quite willing to settle for the very best of everything!

Hopefully Vosko is in a nursing home and can no longer cause any more damage to Catholic Churches
