Father, I watched your talk and I would recommend it to anyone. You covered the topic very thoroughly and I especially appreciated your explanation regarding the old and new Mass and the present situation under Summorum Pontificum. I also very much appreciated your explanation regarding the use of Latin and vernacular in the new Mass and the reasons for the new corrected translation. Thank you!
Father, I just saw a rather short but very good and to the point talk by Bishop Sample, of Marquette, MI, regarding ad orientem and the proper focus of the Mass--he even touched on music. If only more bishops shared his attitude then maybe the "norms" (regarding the orientation of the priest) in the Ordinary Form could begin to change.
Also, a minor point, since the Pope has started using the Roman style (fiddleback) chasuble on occasion again, why don't we see more priests and bishops (like Bishop Sample) using them as an alternate style in the OF? As the late Father Thomas Payne once pointed out, they are (as a practical matter) ideally suited to our hot humid Southern climate.
Father, on my browser the video is not framed properly, and is truncated on the right edge. This seems to be always the case on your blog. Can you post a link to where it can be seen without the embedding? I would love to refer many others to this video, in particular. Thank you.
If you click on the subtitle when I'm speaking (which shows only briefly and has St. Joseph Church on it) it will take you to the original site. I don't know how to get the whole thing to show. Anyone know? Or you can go to the site here: http://blip.tv/st-joseph-catholic-church-macon-ga/20101111-rcia-celebrating-the-catholic-mass-fr-mcdonald-4434159
On youtube videos that I post simply click on the video once or twice and it will go to the original site>
Thanks, Father. I googled my way to blip.tv with a search on RCIA Macon, GA, I think. I'm still wondering how you could present it in your blog in a 4:3 rectangle instead of the square which chops the right edge. I've seen the same issue in other blogs, for what it's worth.

You have a great speaking voice. I would love to see you record and post a series on some topic of interest to Catholics.

I forgot to mention, the Bishop Sample video is on Father Zuhlsdorf's blog, "What does the Prayer Really Say?"

Forget what I said about 4:3, Father, as you have posted 9:16 video on blip.tv. My error.
