ANNUAL SOLEMN RECITATION OF THE HOLY ROSARY AND BENEDICTION OF THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT

Although the Feast of the Holy Rosary isn't until Friday, October 7th, Saint Joseph Church will anticipate this feast with our annual solemn recitation of the Holy Rosary and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament beginning with a parish dinner on Wednesday, October 6th at 6:00 PM and the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. We ask our 2nd graders preparing for First Penance and First Holy Communion along with our 9th graders who are preparing for Confirmation to be present along with their parents. We acknowledge them as preparing for these sacraments, call each by name and give them a simple blessing as a part of the over all celebration.

Our choirs sing Marian anthems between the decades of the Holy Rosary and we normally have a significant number in the congregation.

This is one of my favorite parish events of the year! Unfortunately, I am out of town and will miss it this year...
