He’s remembered as a demagogue and I sincerely pray that purgatory had room for him somehow. Maybe the notion that his Maker was soon to review his deeds provoked a return to religion and a shunning of the awful morass of politics.
Here lies Father McDonald. What else is it gong to say? That he promoted dark conspiracies and enabled lies? Or that he pastored several parishes that were much better off for having had him and his faithful priesthood?
