At any rate, this doesn't surprise me. All manner of wildly inappropriate behavior happens at Holy Mass, and the Irish don't have a monopoly on that. Actually, I'm surprised worse doesn't happen -- or perhaps it does, and I'm blissfully unaware of it.
I don't like to see this sort of thing at all, but I have to admit that it is better than the wiccan dances with earthen bowls of incense that we see here in the US.
