ALL FORMS OF THE MASS HAVE ELEMENTS THAT ARE PERIPHERAL, BUT DOES THE ORDINARY FORM MAKE THE PERIPHERAL IDOLATROUS?

The peripheral made idolatrous:

All forms of the Mass show a version of the Church's eccesiology. But for many who vociferously object to the Extraordinary Form of the Mass and vociferously idolize the Ordinary Form, the thing they idolize the most is the so-called new ecclesiology of the Church promoted by Vatican II as a theology not a true doctrine or dogma, but more like a theology of Limbo.

Of course, too, they idolize a theology of the Mass as a horizontal, convivial meal of fellowship.

The EF Mass keeps the Mass away from the peripheral false idols and focuses the Church on what the Mass is--Sacrifice, which is synonymous with what the word worship is and is completely true-God oriented (ad orientem) and thus completely non idolatrous.

True God-Sacrifice (worship) with crystal clear sacrifice (worship) orientation (ad orientem) please note too the proper way to elevate the Chasuble:

What exactly is "ecclesiology", and how is it different from before and after Vatican II? Is it related to a theology of the liturgy, often called "liturgical theology"?

Some, like Fr A Ruff, claim that the "ecclesiology" of the Church can be seen in her liturgical theology which is radically different from before and after Vatican II. Before Vatican II, the liturgy was clerical based, while after Vatican II it became assembly based (as it was in early Christianity so it was claimed by the liturgical movement).

Amen! Amen! Amen!

Those kids look like, "nothing to see here....move along". No mystery, majesty, enchantment......nothing to to inspire anyone to raise their heads up in awe. Just a good dose of banal low church abuse. Those vestments make me turn my head away in disgust. What real man would wear that?
