$250 MILLION LAWSUIT AGAINST THE WASHINGTON POST BY CATHOLIC VICTIM

Excerpt From Lifesite news:

The lawsuit says the Washington Post engaged in “unlawful and bullying conduct at Nicholas.” The 115-pound 16-year-old, who was on his first-ever out-of-state field trip without his family, “suffered substantial reputational and emotional harm” as a result of the Post’s false reporting, his lawyers say. “The Post’s campaign to target Nicholas in furtherance of its political agenda was carried out by using its vast financial resources to enter the bully pulpit by publishing a series of false and defamatory print and online articles which effectively provided a worldwide megaphone to Phillips and other anti-Trump individuals and entities to smear a young boy who was in its view an acceptable casualty in their war against the President.”
“Unlike the Post’s abuse of the profession of journalism, Plaintiffs do not bring this lawsuit to use the judicial system to further a political agenda,” the lawyers maintain. “This lawsuit is brought against the Postto seek legal redress for its negligent, reckless, and malicious attacks on Nicholas which caused permanent damage to his life and reputation...The Post bullied an innocent child with an absolute disregard for the pain and destruction its attacks would cause to his life.”
The incident caused Sandmann and other Covington students to be subject to death threats. Their school was forced to close for a day for safety reasons; when it reopened, it required a heavy police presence.
Wood and McMurty laid out their evidence that the Post, in a series of seven articles, published defamatory and false information about Sandmann, concluding, “As the natural and foreseeable consequence of its actions, the Post knew and intended that its False and Defamatory Accusations would be republished by others, including media outlets and others on social media.”
The attorneys say the newspaper published its pieces smearing Sandmann “negligently and with actual malice.”
“All members of the mainstream & social media mob of bullies who recklessly & viciously attacked Nick would be well-served to read” Sandmann’s legal complaint against the Post “carefully,” Wood tweeted today.

He's "speaking truth to power!" He should sue the Diocese too

The most prominent member of Sandmann's legal team is Lin Wood who grew up and attended high school in Macon and graduated from Mercer University and Mercer Law school.

$@50 million? Really? How many people are talking about this a month later? Nothing like "jackpot justice". HEck, people are already losing interest in the Virginia political scandals---and those broke just a few weeks ago.

Anonymous Kavanaugh,

Jackpot justice? I think this lawsuit will be a teaching moment for a media which is increasingly corrupt, evil, and a propaganda arm for the Abortion Party. Pass the popcorn

People (you mean the media) are losing interest in Virginia because it involves members of their beloved Abortion Party and underscores their hypocrisy and cravenness

Good news: the kid gets his ollege paid for. Bad news: he can’t go to a Catholic ollege.

"A teaching moment for a media which is increasingly corrupt"...

Except for FOX, right, TJM? WE know how Sean Hannity is "fair and balanced" in his criticism of Trump...

And no, I am not Anonymous Kavanaugh---I have never met him, would not know what he looks like, but he sounds more liberal than me!

As for Virginia, Obama won it twice and Clinton carried it last time. It is now a Democratic state. Republican heyday is over there, which means the increasingly secular Northeast unfortunately gets a greater grip on the state with each passing day.

Well Anonymous, at least Hannity is not actively promoting hoaxes like the so-called mainstream media: look no further than Smollett in Chicago and the Covington disaster. Even the African-American Police Chief of Chicago lambasted the media and the celebrity class for their taking sides in the Smollett hoax. These are evil, corrupt, people who all share in common their love of intrinsic evils like abortion and gay marriage. I am thrilled when ever I hear more of these corrupt jackasses no longer have jobs.

The only reason Virginia has gone to the dogs is because it is loaded with government bureaucrats who support the Abortion Party. If the federal pig were downsized that vermin would scatter and the Old Dominion would regain its equilibrium. Notice how the media has banished the Northam coverage? If he were a Republican we would still be hearing about it. No media bias there, move along

YEs, TJM, at least Hannity is not out there promoting the Trump hoax that he could eliminate the national debt in just two terms as president. Would be hard to do given that he is running up debt about as fast as Obama did!

So you say Virginia is going to the dogs because it is loaded with government bureaucrats? Well, the state had a lot of federal employees also between 1952-2004, when it voted Republican for president every time except in 1964---even Jimmy Carter lost the state twice. So what changed? I bet there is a smaller proportion of employees with the Feds these days than there was 50 years ago up in Northern Virginia. Reagan in 1980 and 1984 easily won Northern Virginia, and there were lots of federal employees back then too.

Of course I could mention that a lot of the growth in the federal government/budget these days is with entitlements, and Trump doesn't want to touch that. And lets be real, the federal government is not going to downsize under Trump, so Northern Virginia will remain the Democratic stronghold it is today.

Hannity Lies:

Says 642,000 crimes were committed against Texans by criminal immigrants in a recent seven-year period. Nope.

Says, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit is "the most overturned court in the country." Nope. (The 6th and 11th have higher overturn rates.)

Says all of Texas is conservative, except a little bit of Austin. Nope.

Says President Obama said he’s going to bring in 250,000 (Syrian and Iraqi) refugees into this country. Nope.

Among others.
