I celebrated Holy Family Church’s Great Vigil of Easter at 8 pm on Holy Saturday. I was able to Baptize, Confirm and offer an adult convert, Lisa, her First Holy Communion as well. Lisa, married over 30 years to her Catholic husband, had never been baptized, but was very active in raising her children in the practice of the Catholic Faith! There are countless stories of non-Catholics raising their children to be very good Catholics but they themselves never becoming Catholic. God bless Lisa, her husband and her family!

But, did your shoes stay tied?
Wonderful! At our parish, we had a half-dozen or so newly baptised, mostly younger unmarried people, and almost a dozen newly received, mostly older and married/with children.*
*I'm not insinuating that any of them are same-sex attracted.

They don't have a baptismal font?
In the vestibule and unmovable.
