YIKES! THIS SOUNDS ERILY FAMILIAR, BUT IT TURNED OUT BETTER IN MACON THAN INDIANAPOLIS!

WOW! This Archbishop can expect crucifixion as should all the clergy if they are prophetic!

Indianapolis archbishop revokes Jesuit prep school's Catholic identity

.- The Archdiocese of Indianapolis announced Thursday that a local Jesuit high school will no longer be recognized as a Catholic school, due to a disagreement about the employment of a teacher who attempted to contract a same-sex marriage.
“All those who minister in Catholic educational institutions carry out an important ministry in communicating the fullness of Catholic teaching to students both by word and action inside and outside the classroom,” the archdiocese said in a statement Thursday.
“In the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, every archdiocesan Catholic school
and private Catholic school has been instructed to clearly state in its contracts and ministerial job descriptions that all ministers must convey and be supportive of all teachings of the Catholic Church.”
Teachers, the archdiocese said, are classified as ‘ministers’ because “it is their duty and privilege to ensure that students receive instruction in Catholic doctrine and practice. To effectively bear witness to Christ, whether they teach religion or not, all ministers in their professional and private lives must convey and be supportive of Catholic Church teaching.”
“Regrettably, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School has freely chosen not to enter into such agreements that protect the important ministry of communicating the fullness of Catholic teaching to students. Therefore, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School will no longer be recognized as a Catholic institution by the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.”

Unlike fake catholics like Cupich of Chicago, Archbishop Thompson is the real deal, a soldier for Christ and His Church. May God protect him from the evil forces that will align against him, including fake catholic bishops and priests and the media and the Democratic Party (but I repeat myself).

There really should not be any debate here---marriage ain't "Adam and Steve." But the liberal media would like to say the teacher should be ousted for being gay, not for entering into a same-sex marriage. Sounds like that Jesuit school could be a branch of the Episcopal Church---high on pomp, low on guilt! Father M, I don;t understand why M. de Sales entered into a confidential agreement with the teacher down there in a same-sex marriage---but then again, neither you or I heads the Savannah Diocese so we are not in the know! I guess the motto of the story too is just because a school has the adjective "Catholic", well, it may not necessarily be so in practice. As we say, look before you leap!!!

The debacle in Macon was ridiculous! Mount de Sales Academy is a CATHOLIC school and should adhere to Catholic principals. Sadly, it is not a diocesan school, but a private school and secularism is alive and well there. The lawsuit over the firing of an openly homosexual teacher (and subsequent settlement) has made the administration at the school very skiddish about stepping on any toes; resulting in a school that has become very liberal. I chose to send my child there to learn Catholic values and get a quality education. Lately, they seem to be serving up more political correctness than Catholicism.

Mount de Sales paid out a pretty hefty settlement for firing a highly rated employee who exercised his legal right. They should. Would that our bishops were as zealous in protecting kids as they are in policing teachers’ private lives. The deal

Dollar Bill sounds like Anonymous K to me. If the teacher had kept his life private, he would not have been fired. From being the "love that dare not speak its name " it has now become the love that won't shut up.
