DURING THE FIRST SYNOD ON THE FAMILY IN OCTOBER OF 2014, CARDINAL GEORGE PELL PREDICTED THE PREDICTABLE WHICH IS HAPPENING IN 2017, IN THREE SHORT YEARS!

Now that the bishops of Malta are going way beyond  Amoris Laetitia's footnote, we can be assured that other bishops will do the same. And thus the Catholic Church is seeing the "tip of the iceberg" as it concerns the dismantling of Catholicism and making us like liberal Protestantism which as Cardinal Pell makes clear in the video below, taped in October of 2014, will happen to the Catholic Church too if the radical cardinals and bishops in the Church have their way. Cardinal Pell tried to reassure us that this wouldn't happen, but now His Eminence will have to eat his words as in cropophilia:

HERE IS THE VIDEO THAT CARDINAL PELL NAMES WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE IF THE HETERODOX SUCCEEDED WHICH IN 2014 HIS EMINENCE THOUGHT THEY WOULDN'T BUT THEY HAD A SUBVERSIVE PLAN ENDORSED BY THE POPE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN AND IT IS HAPPENING:

Let's face it, it was an intentional virus planted in an overall remarkably good document on marriage and the family that has once again opened up Pandora's Box in terms of unraveling Catholic moral teaching revealed to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church  by God in Sacred Scripture and Tradition and to everyone else in Natural Law.

Of course that virus is a little old footnote, as we say in the south, that corrupts everything. It is the cropophilia of Amoris Letitia! Who wants to eat anything knowing that a dab of shit has corrupted the whole?

This is what His Eminence, George Cardinal Pell said in the middle of October in 2014:

From the Tablet, AKA, Bitter Pill:

[Pell says the relatio is]“tendentious and incomplete,”... an “incomplete resumé” of what the Synod Fathers had said it needed to be “enhanced and corrected”.

He added that after the relatio had been presented three-quarters of the participants in the synod hall who had made interventions had voiced problems with the text.

“The question of Communion for divorced and remarried is only the tip of the iceberg"... "In seeking to be merciful, some want to open up Catholic teaching on marriage, divorce, civil unions, homosexuality in a radically liberalising direction, whose fruits we see in other Christian traditions”...

“[It is] strange that there was so little in the document on scriptural teaching and magisterial teaching on marriage, sexuality, family.” “The task now is to reassure good practising Catholics that doctrinal changes are not possible; to urge people to take a deep breath, pause and to work to prevent deeper divisions and radicalising of factions.” He pointed out Jesus’ teaching on marriage and divorce is a fundamental, which needs to be accepted. He added that children “have a right to a mother and a father”. (Source)

Fear not. God is in control of His One True Church. God has gifted us with the Apostolic See. We can always turn with confidence to the Roman Pontiff. The Roman Pontiff will keep us from schism and heresy as long as we remain in communion with him.

Everything will be fine. As we read in Denzinger, "...the See of St. Peter always remains unimpaired by any error, according to the divine promise of our Lord the Savior..."

Denzinger:

1836: "Indeed, all the venerable fathers have embraced their apostolic doctrine, and the holy orthodox Doctors have venerated and followed it, knowing full well that

*******the See of St. Peter always remains unimpaired by any error, according to the divine promise of our Lord the Savior*******

made to the chief of His disciples: "I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren" [Luke 22:32]."

1837: "So, this gift of truth and a never failing faith was divinely conferred upon Peter and his successors in this chair, that they might administer their high duty for the salvation of all; that the entire flock of Christ, turned away by them from the poisonous food of error, might be nourished on the sustenance of heavenly doctrine, that with the occasion of schism removed the whole Church might be saved as one, and relying on her foundation might stay firm against the gates of hell."

And as usual, with every few exceptions, all of the world's bishops and priests are silent. Way to go!

Aren't the Maltese bishops in communion with the Roman pontiff?

How did their communion prevent them from promulgating a document that contradicts nearly two millennia of Catholic teaching?

To any brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ who may be upset/shaken today, please dismiss any such thing from your hearts and minds. Instead, more forward today in the spirit of joy, peace, an unwavering confidence in Holy Mother Church.

The following is very simple...keep it in mind as this is all we need to know:

"In the Apostolic See the Catholic Religion has always been preserved immaculate." — The Creed of Pope Saint Hormisdas, 529 A.D.

Now, let us each have a beautiful. uplifting day.

The faithful just need to know what to believe and how to behave. If God wants to change those instructions, then so be it, but we need a pope who will explain this clearly to us, and who will not get angry when the sudden changes confuse us. However, if God intends no such changes, and if the pope cannot make them on his own initiative, then I suppose Vatican officials must find some way to keep the pope quiet.

Perhaps there's a silver lining in the dark cloud hanging over the Church under the current papacy. If a restoration of Catholic faith and liturgy can begin only after the situation has gotten so bad that among the faithful, only fatuous fools with heads in the sand can fail to see what's happening. Surely, it's getting there.

It's never been about changes in dogma, changes in praxis screw everything up...you'd think we would have learned our lesson after Vatican II, but nope.

It's pretty hard to take Rome seriously these days, I'm seeing much wisdom in Eastern teachings on the papacy. This papacy has me nearly to the point of going orthodox outside of Romes communion. This is getting close to being too much.

Joe of St. Therese,

Some of the behaviors of Pope Francis certainly seem to harm the Office of Peter. But it seems unlikely to me that Jesus intended His Church not to have such an office. At any rate, the old Jesuit process of discernment, if adopted by the whole Church, will surely show us that the ambiguous doctrines and secular liturgies of the past few decades have not born good fruit, and that the pope needs to stick to clear teaching and reverent worship while insisting that everyone else do the same.

Dialogue,

I definitely do not doubt the necessity of the office, but I wonder if it's a good thing of the magnitude that the office has taken today? I can't see this as a good thing.

Here's praying that the Church actually adopts clear teaching and good Liturgical praxis again. and the Pope actually does his job.

(I wasn't signed in on my google, I'm Joe of St Therese :))

Mark Thomas,

“We can always turn with confidence to the Roman Pontiff.”

What do we do if the Roman Pontiff refuses to answer our questions and relieve our concern? Four Cardinals of the Holy Roman Church turned with confidence to the Roman Pontiff and their concerns were left unanswered. One’s confidence suffers immensely.

“The Roman Pontiff will keep us from schism and heresy as long as we remain in communion with him.”

Communion with the Holy Tradition of the Church in communion with the Roman See will keep us from heresy and schism. The Roman Pontiff, himself, may sometimes preside over ambiguity and the proliferation of heresy and sacrilege throughout the Church – a situation that benefits no faithful Catholic and certainly does not shield them from heresy.

“The following is very simple...keep it in mind as this is all we need to know:”

All we need to know? If the faithful of Malta do not know the Tradition of the Church, they will be misled into sacrilege and the heresy of believing that they can, with impunity, follow a subjective and erroneous morality opposed to the teachings of Christ’s Catholic Church. Knowing that they are in juridical union with Rome will provide them with no true doctrine or peace of soul since their spiritual abusers can claim the same juridical recognition (and to a much greater extent since they are recognized as possessing the pastoral care of souls).

“Now, let us each have a beautiful. uplifting day.”

With respect, I hardly think that you are the one to wish any Catholic a beautiful and uplifting day. Your lack of defense of the truth of the Church’s praxis regarding denying Absolution and Communion for unrepentant habitual adulterers evidenced on this blog earlier this year, justified by your comment that your bishop’s orthodox interpretation of Amoris Laetitia was enough for you, and your recent defense of the orthodoxy of anyone not officially condemned by Rome, is sufficient to reveal your perspectives as of no use for the faithful of the Church (much less those in Malta or other sees whose erroneous shepherds retain good relations with Rome).
