I doubt there's any malfunctioning. Your blog is just very popular!
Please don't let it freak you out. You're rapidly becoming Fr. Z version 2.0 in terms of popularity it seems.
Maybe they like your little poster of "Bishop" Pelosi with the fecal reference to her outrageous policy positions while still calling herself "a devout Catholic."
This was predicted by the Mayan calendar - don't worry!
Father, the gradual increase shows that it is not a malfunction...you are just getting more and more popular! It's like that Pay It Forward movie, one person tells three people, those three people tell three people each...I would like to see a break down by state, as that might prove interesting as well!
I think you should consider vlogging (video blogging) soon...YouTube needs some light to overcome all the darkness!
YES! Please start vlogging!
When did your numbers start to rise? Perhaps right before that point someone joined or participated on your blog and "they" are tracking that person. If so, hopefully "they" will learn something.
Is there a way to know which posts and/or questions got most reads. It might help to know if a particular post caused the spike...and either post more like it or stay away from that topic- your choice of course.
I am not sure about the vlogging; take some tie time to discern that move.
Apart from the number of comments that people make on a particular post, there is no way to know which posts are most viewed. But the spike began a couple of weeks ago, but this past Thursday it was most noticeable and today it was bizarre almost 12,000 page views. I looked that the countries that are viewing and of course the USA is first, Canada is next, then the Philippines and India (I have parishioners from both countries!)
But the Arab Emirate Republic, as well as Malaysia and Russia, Australia and New Zealand! It is all rather mind boggling to me!
I have to admit, it's something I did.
My cubicle mate is a Liberal Catholic who likes Pelosi. I set his computer up so every time he clicks on your web site it gives him a food pellet. Since he thinks he thinks he should get things for free, naturally, he has been clicking on it like it was a morphine drip.
I think there are some side effects, too. Last Friday he asked me if Green Bay won Super Bowl SSPX. I suppose that makes him an inquirer.
Father, you pick the absolute best pictures for your posts.
