LYRA FROM SAINT PETERSBURG, RUSSIA SANG AT ST. JOSEPH CHURCH ON TUESDAY NIGHT; WOW!

Lyra, a singing ensemble from Saint Petersburg, Russia sang at St. Joseph. Our acoustics for singing are second to none in the USA. Only four of their singers were present along with their conductor. They sound like a choir of 25! When there were solo parts you would have thought they were wearing a microphone, but they weren't.

This was their 4th time at St. Joseph. They love singing in our sacred space! Their Sacred Music selections were from the Russian Orthodox Church especially in the 18th and 19th centuries. They also sang some whimsical Russian Folk Songs in traditional dress. These were amazing too.
