I thanked him for his pastoral care & benevolence towards the Traditional Latin Mass Communities in the diocese. He comes across a genuinely humble and sincere prelate. I thank Our Lord that he has blessed the Diocese of Joliet with such a good shepherd!

Well this is an example of a horrible, corrupt shepherd, Cupich of Chicago, crushing the legitimate aspirations of traditional Catholics. Even MT Suit should be touched by the statements of the lay people Cupich harmed by his lack of accompaniment and mercy. They sound like simple, ordinary Catholics to me.

The problem is that people conflate tolerance to the TLM with being a "traditional bishop ", but that's really not the case. There have been multiple bishops who have run away with the LGBT train but are still generous with the TLM.
Even so, I think I'd almost take a Zuppi over the grumpy man who scolded people for not smiling enough.
