When I read Fr. Steve Mattson’s article, I thought, Wow, that’s me, I am not alone!
I love this comment at that article:
Press the title for the fine article. I hope Bishop Martin reads it and learns from it:
Baffled by a bishop, Bishop Martin, OFM CONV, TO BE EXACT, NOT ME BUT MY CLONE…although me too!
A parish priest reflects on what is happening in Charlotte, and on what has transpired in his own parish over the past several years.

I located the following from Father Mattison in regard to his comments that pertained to Traditionis Custodes:
"However anyone might judge the papacies of JPII, Benedict XVI, and Francis, we can (and should!) take consolation that the Lord is at work.
"And we do well to remember that no action, whether of this motu proprio or that, this appointment or that, occurs outside of the Lord’s providential will.
"All of our free acts will, whether of a cleric or layman, in the end, serve to accomplish His purposes, as we heard last Sunday in our second reading. "

That is why I do not fret in regard to the Church...Popes. God is in charge.
Pax.

And did you notice the large contingent of altarboys in this thriving parish? Coincidence = Causation, anyone? https://www.youtube.com/live/avbtv_nI6Gs?si=GSV-wr5DVyxsK-qO
I think "Bishop" Martin has mental health issues. Rome really needs to intervene on this one. Admit it made a mistake and remove him.
Note the organic embrace mentioned in this piece. Interesting that. It just happened. People instinctively knew how they wished/should approach. So, reading this and reflecting on its points leads me to wonder, if the people instinctively know which master they are serving, and which master is nourishing them both body and soul, who or what master is the bishop serving and to what gain/end relative to the salvation of souls?
I guess God was in charge when the Borgia popes were elected!
