In regard to architecture: I do not rate the church in question as "horrific." I would not have approved the current design. But the important thing is that the church in question is God's sacred space.
It is the Mass and Sacraments, offered in holy fashion, that will enliven the parish in question.

Yes, really quite easy on the eyes.
As spiritually imspiring of holiness and the presence of God in our midst as an airport terminal, and just as easy to sterilize with a hose.
