I ASK; YOU ANSWER!

Which way is the best way not to spread Covid-19, facing the congregation or not facing the congregation?

Well this is another subject, but thought it would be of interest to your readers. In St.Louis as you may know the BLM aka Marxist-Leninist movement that has been trying to take down our government has been trying to rip down the statue of St.Louis IX King of France in St. Louis MO. However some brave Catholics came out to pray and try to protect the statue with three priests in attendance one of them is a young priest Father Stephen Schumacher who tried to give a history lesson on the Saint but was shouted down by the radical "Communists" yes that is what they are ladies and gentleman all that has been taking place for over a month has NOTHING to do with race but for the total take down of The United States of America and we are letting it happen! By the way the Communists in the crowd shouted the St. Louis Cathedral will be next, all of this can be seen on the blog The Gateway Pundit please take a look and see for yourselves this is a fight for our very survival. The Republicans are supposed to protect us but have caved in and are shaking in the boots lest they be called racists. And by the way not a peep from the Bishops about the statue of St. Junipero Serra being torn down in San Francisco last week.

That's because liberal clergy place more importance on their political ideology than on defending the Faith and others are in Bishop Barron mode (not my job) but let's give credit where due.....

Trump seems to be the only Republican calling for protection of monuments. Hopefully most of us would agree that if some statues are to come down, it must be by the democratic process, not mob rule. Of course former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie had to sound real pious today, supporting the removal of statues of "Confederate traitors". But I wonder, were Washington and others who rebelled against the British crown about 250 years ago "traitors" too?

And really, is human nature so weak that one is easily offended by a statue of someone who died years ago? I mean, really? Most people never noticed the statues for decades. Do we have a right not to be offended by anything?

And, by the way, yeah, they did. Six days ago.

No one is offended by a statue.

"Most people never noticed the statues for decades."

You may not have, but many who belong to communities that suffered under the person represented by the statue probably did.

"Do we have a right not to be offended by anything?"

We choose not to be offended, or to be offended, for many reasons.

We have a right to be offended by anything. We do not have a right not to be offended. That is to say, we have no right to impose on others such limits as may save us from being offended.
