Just a couple weeks ago my 20 lb cat chased away a Lab dog twice his size that had wandered near the house from a far off neighbor. The dog was fleeing pretty scared. Although dogs can bite well, cats have very effective weapons in their claws which can readily rip apart bare flesh, like a dog's abdomen. And cats are pretty smart, as the cat in this video saw the danger to the child.
Wow, what a video! I have both a cat and a dog. A friend observed recently that my cat acts a lot like a dog, and that she noticed when cats are in a household with a dog they seem to act more "doglike." I don't know, but I see what she means.
Anyway, all I can say about the cat in this video is it just goes to show don't mess with a cat's baby human!
God bless (all God's creatures, great and small, even mean ol' stray dogs) Bee.
