Did your priest wear rose this Laetare Sunday?
The various rose iterations foisted upon me over the decades:
The second one from the top is what my Mom used to call "hot pink!"
Bubble Gum Pink! (Dolly Parton Pink?)
Going back to an earlier post where you could not decide if a vestment was a redder hue of purple or a purpler hue of red, I think that is was was originally intended by by rose, i.e., magenta/fuchsia, not pink.
According to Fr. Z., "rosacea" is rose more like salmon color.
