THIS IS GOOD NEWS FOR COURAGE INTERNATIONAL AND ORTHODOX SEXUAL MORALITY…POPE LEO MEETS WITH A DELEGATION OF ITS LEADERS, WHEREAS POPE FRANCIS NEVER DID…

Pope Francis has engaged in dialogue with various LGBTQ+ groups, however it is sad to note that there is no record of a formal meeting with the Courage International ministry specifically.

Immorality

of LGBTQ+++ people of whatever gender they declare and whatever pronouns they want.

The other heterodox group that Pope Francis met and encouraged was New Ways Ministry, condemned

 By the American bishops.

Today, though, Friday, February 6, Pope Leo XIV met with a delegation of the very orthodox Courage International

Ministries. Deo Gratias!

Speaking of Pope Francis (requiescat in pace):

In 2019 A.D., Courage International's then-executive director had thanked and praised Pope Francis for the strong support that he/Courage International had received from said Pope.

-- Courage’s executive director to receive Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice

"Courage International’s executive director will be among the latest recipients of theCross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, an honor conferred by Pope Francis on those who have given distinguished service to the Roman Catholic Church.

Father Philip Bochanski, who has served the Courage apostolate for over a decade – first as chaplain and eventually as the executive director – will receive the Cross on December 9, 2019...

The Cross will be conferred by Archbishop Charles Chaput, OFM Cap., on behalf of Pope Francis.

On receiving the announcement of the award, Father Bochanski said: "I am deeply grateful to Pope Francis for awarding me the Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice."

"I see this special gesture of the Holy Father as an honor for the whole Courage and EnCourage family, a public recognition of the way in which our shared pursuit of holiness, and our commitment to speaking and living the truth in love, are always at the service of the Gospel, of the Church, and of the Pope and bishops.

"I sincerely hope that our members, chaplains and friends in all the countries where Courage is serving will receive this news with joy, and know that the are seen and supported by the Holy Father and have a special place in the heart of the universal Church."

Father Brian Gannon, who came into the leadership role at the organization in 2024, told EWTN News on Feb. 6 that the meeting — the group's first with a pope — was an “extraordinary gift” from the Holy Father.
“The pope was very gracious, a very good listener,” he said. “We talked about the importance of chastity, how it heals and strengthens and restores the person. The pope was obviously very encouraging.”
The Holy Father in turn “talked about freedom, about what real freedom is —not the unbridled freedom that the world offers, but rather mastering our passions and being in complete surrender to the will of God.”
Gannon said the meeting with Leo constitutes a “huge morale booster” for the group, which has chapters in over a dozen countries and numbers more than 200 chaplains, including through its family support ministry, EnCourage.

In regard to the powerful support of Courage International that Popes Francis (requiescat in pace), as well as Leo XIV, had/have rendered unto said group:

We have another example that has highlighted the holy continuity between the two Pontificates in question.

Pope Francis never explicitly issued a new, public call for LGBTQ+ individuals to practice chastity. Pope Leo explicitly said so on Feb. 6.

I appreciate the praise that Father Gannon's has heaped upon Pope Leo XIV.

His Holiness has taken a verbal beating from a certain sector of the Church in regard to his supposed support of the Homosexual Mafia.

Example: Bishop Strickland declared:

"...we face a troubling reality: instead of correcting the trajectory set by Pope Francis, Pope Leo XIV is doubling down on it..."

"...the Lavender Mafia – a clandestine network within the Church hierarchy that protects and advances a homosexual ideology...Its tentacles now reach into the Leo papacy...

"Pope Francis presided over a doctrinal collapse: Fiducia Supplicans green-lighted blessings of same-sex unions, plain and simple.

"That rupture has not been undone by Pope Leo – it is being compounded...nothing has changed."

Father Gannon has made clear that the above analysis belongs to the realm of quackery.
