BOMBSHELL: POPE FRANCIS, THE ONLY POPE TO MODEL DIVINE MERCY IN THE HISTORY OF THE CHURCH, DECIDES THAT THERE ARE LIMITS TO MERCY!

The Jesuit magazine, “America” is reporting the unthinkable about the Pope of Mercy, Pope Francis: There has been a lapse in his mercy:

Archbishop Georg Gänswein, the private secretary of the late Pope Benedict XVI, has to leave his Vatican apartment by July 1 and return to his home diocese of Freiburg in Germany, according to a June 2 report in Die Welt, a German daily newspaper.

It said Archbishop Gänswein, 66, would live as a private citizen, though still a priest, and would not be given a new assignment or formal role in the Archdiocese of Freiburg. According to the report, Pope Francis gave the archbishop the July 1 deadline during a private audience in the Vatican on May 19.

I find this a bit unusual. I know that Gainswain is an archbishop and his direct superior is the pope. But when the pope does not give an assignment to an archbishop, effectively placing him into retirement, can the pope dictate where the archbishop will live and what he will do?

It seems to me that Gainswain could live anywhere which would allow him to live. Obviously the Vatican is ruled out.

But if he wants to take a job as a professor in a Catholic institution in the USA, how can the pope stop him?

the pope must really be angry at Gainswain’s transparency and which chips away at clericalism.

This pope is low class. I wouldn’t walk across the street to see him. He can’t be gone soon enough

Seems there wasn’t a lack of mercy by PF , Fr McDonald. He was exercising his *selective* mercy. (As he did with TLM attendees.)

I really don't understand this move if it turns out to be true. Returning to Germany as an active Archbishop, being given one of the 3 dioceses that are open, would be a way for the pope to send a clear message to the schismatic bishops running Germany these days. It would "seed" the German hierarchy with a backstop to the current fools in place and make clear that the pope is NOT on-board with the Synodal-Weg. Uh, not so fast......As I have remarked here many times before; this pope is in lockstep with the schism underway and wants it to succeed to the point of no return. That the pope is not taking advantage of this opportunity speaks volumes and is further evidence that I may be on to something.

When your powerbase is gone so are you. He is still young. When Rome repents and returns to the Faith AB G may be given a red hat or be elected Pope even.

How long before we are all expected to participate in Día de la lealtad ( loyalty Day): 17th October 1945

Maybe it’s not a firing, but giving the Archbishop time for some project of his own. Or maybe the Archbishop is in poor health and needs access to German doctors?

TJM,

I respectfully would ask you to clarify what you mean by "low class". Economically, our greatest modern pope (just my humble opinion) Pius X, was low class, since he grew up in poverty.

Or by "class" do we mean a tendency to act with grace and benevolence ("classy") v. a tendency to be petty and air our grievances and seek revenge (too many adjectives to think of, but I guess "unclassy" or "low class" would apply.

I can't judge this pope, but since God gave me cognitive faculties, I can evaluate his actions based on my knowledge and, by all APPEARANCES, he definitely seems to BEHAVE in a petty manner.

Jerome Merwick,

Not low class in the economic sense but in terms of civility
