The reason I am shocked is that what is happening in the Syro-Malabar Church and continues to happen is a microcosm of the on-going progressives’ disobedience to the pope worldwide that no one talks about. These are liberal priests who are so virulent about celebrating Mass facing the people that they even incite violence and damage churches to make their point. No to ad orientem, yes to facing the people and to hell with their synod, their bishops and their pope! The disobedience is breathtaking.
And yet, in the west, what part of the Church is held up for derision? It is the neo-traditionalists. The TLM is crushed, but not the liberals, not the Germans, and they are the problem, not the traditionalists.
Have there been fights in dioceses where the TLM has been crushed? Has there been anything like that of the Indian Eastern Rite coming from Traditionlaists? NO!
But the progressives get a pass in their virulent disobedience!

I strongly suspect that, at some point, we too will see violence and destruction in our churches. If we didn't learn anything else from the summer of "peaceful protests" of ANTIFA (the TRUE fascists) and BLM (parallel intolerance), we should have learned that the generations of America that believed in self-respect, courtesy in public discourse, restraint and tolerance are disappearing as the enlightened youth utterly immersed in leftist "values" will stoop at nothing to get their way. Now apply that same ethos to the worst catechized Catholics in history and...well, it doesn't take much imagination to see where it will probably lead us.

It is interesting that the Syro-Malabar resistors think that Pope Crancis is being fed bad guidance and repeating it in the video. That has been my hypothesis for most of this pontificate. I also think that explains his Holiness’ crankiness at times- he can’t defend or explain what he doesn’t understand.
Noticing this would cause too much dissidence to the popesplainers.
