Second vaccine on Annunciation. Prior to this I had eyes dilated for eye procedure related to a detachment near retina but not a retina detachment, thus the celebrity sunglasses. May need laser procedure in three weeks or maybe not. I hope not.

My prayer offered regarding the eye. I think you should feed this news to the scientific major media so that they can conclude the vaccine caused the eye problem. Would have gotten a lot more traction Nov though. Today they would rewrite your story that you are actually 110 and now appear mid 60s.
I have thought about that, as the minor eye disturbance occurred about a week or so after the first vaccine.
Detached retina was not caused by COVID vaccine but by smacking yourself in the forehead every time you hear ‘Wind beneath my wings’. Which, by the way, is aerodynamically wrong! 🤯
Yes, the song should say "you are the accelerating laminar flow of air above my wings creating an area of low pressure there so that ambient higher pressure beneath my wings provides lift." I think that an improvement over the original.

Sophia here: Congrats on getting your second vaccine dose, Father and prayers that your eye procedure is speedily and fully efficacious! Nonetheless, in the meantime, that incognito look may come in handy-these are perilous times for orthodox (vs heterodox) clergy!
My sign of getting old---Georgia allows you to renew your driver's license online, but only to a point---once you reach 64, you have to do it in person, be sure you have passed an eye exam. Well, at least I have 8 years until I have to renew under those circumstances!
