This article from the Wall Street Journal tries to link apostate, schismatic German bishops, priests and laity to the opposite spectrum in the USA which is not at all opposite. What is happening in the USA as described in this article isn’t apostasy, isn’t schismatic and isn’t post-Catholic. This article is absurd except for the reporting on the German schism and apostasy:
Pope Struggles to Contain Conservative-Liberal Tensions in Catholic Church
VATICAN CITY (VATICAN CITY)

Pope Francis is struggling to manage powerful bishops in the U.S. and Germany, two groups at opposite ends of the ideological spectrum, as he tries to advance his progressive agenda without jeopardizing the unity of the Catholic Church.
The election of President Biden, a progressive Catholic whom some U.S. bishops want to censure for his support of abortion rights, has exacerbated longstanding tensions between the pope and the largely conservative American episcopate. I cancelled the Wall Street Journal over 10 years ago because it was morphing into a New York Times wannabee. When I called to cancel, the nice lady asked me why and I told her. She then whispered into the phone "I agree with you." Never read anything they write.

The same Wall Street Journal which a few days ago was berating critics of Georgia's new voting law? The same Wall Street Journal which has been critical of HR 1, the Democrats' attempt to take over elections administration from the states?
I would say there are marked differences in the editorials of the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times? Perhaps you don't like the Journal because they were critical of some of Trump's actions and demeanor when he was president. Maybe Trump should have taken a cue from the Journal and moderated his often outlandish remarks and behavior. Who knows, maybe if he had done so, he would have been re-elected and along with a GOP Senate.

Was Trump president over 10 years ago, or even a politician when I cancelled? I cancelled it because its news pages were very much like the Slimes. Sometimes their editorial page was ok but the news side was definitely left wing.
