I don't know about Texas but here is a contrast between California and Florida{

Los Angeles county deaths per 100k = 214,

Miami-Dade = 201.

Unemployment in Los Angeles Metro = 9.9,

Miami-Dade = 6.7.

Los Angeles % of kids who saw the inside of a classroom in the last year = 8.6% (special needs kids only)

Miami-Dade = 100%

But they DON'T WEAR MASKS!!!!! said my horrified compatriots.

My coworkers live 100% in a liberal bubble. If NPR and MSN says so, that must be the way it is. They never see or hear anything that contradicts the liberal narrative. They don't even know they aren't seeing anything outside the narrative. They live blissfully ignorant lives, never asking questions which might push on the bubble, and are proud of it.

Pope Francis has, for years, demonstrated great concern for Christians of the Middle East. Here is an early example of that:

-- Pope Francis tells consistory of 'unjust' situation for Middle East Christians

From: 24 OCTOBER 2014

by Simon Caldwell

CHRISTIANS in the Middle East are enduring attacks of terrorism "on an unimaginable scale", Pope Francis has said.

At the opening of a consistory of cardinals to the Middle East on Monday, the Pope said that the Roman Catholic Church wished to make every possible effort to help Christians of the region stay in the face of increasing persecution: "We cannot resign ourselves to imagining a Middle East without Christians, who have professed the name of Jesus there for over 2000 years."

He continued: "We are witnessing a phenomenon of terrorism on an unimaginable scale. Many of our brothers and sisters are brutally persecuted and driven from their homes.

"It seems that an awareness of the value of human life has been lost. It is as if people do not count, and can be sacrificed to other interests.

"This unjust situation requires, aside from our constant prayer, an adequate response on the part of the international community."

Pax.

V is for...Vicar of Christ, Pope Francis.

Pope Francis "openly and vigorously defends Church teaching on contraception, abortion, homosexuality, reproductive technologies, the education of children and much more."

I notice when you put facts in front of the "liberals" who post here that undermine their preferred narrative, they ignore them

While mocking the pandemic and the people who've taken it seriously, Trump and his wife secretly got the vaccine before leaving the White House. They didn't tell the rest of us. That's a fact. LOL.
