 In fact, it is well known how much the issue of the so-called "Latin Mass" has been marked by mutual misunderstandings, partisans and intolerances.  This state of affairs has resulted in the unacceptable situation for which the Catholic liturgy has been transformed into a battlefield between two opposing parties.  Our opinion is that a very serious mistake has thus been made, the son of many fathers but, in any case, to be filed as soon as possible.  We are convinced that the main medicine is represented by the idea that both forms of the Roman Rite must be the common and shared heritage of every Catholic.

 To achieve this goal, the Umbrian Regional Coordination “S.  Pius V ", in concert and agreement with other similar coordinations present in most of the Italian regions, believes that he must act in filial and trusting obedience with the local Bishops, in order to favor and encourage the knowledge and celebration of the extraordinary form of the Rite  Romano, removing it at the same time from any claim of an identity character.

 The extensive reports that Father Cassian Folsom and Father Vittorio Viola presented at the meeting on Saturday, the preparation of which was carried out by the organizers in constant communication with the Umbrian Episcopal Conference, promptly developed these intentions, focusing on mutual play.  of references and resonances existing between the two forms of the Roman Rite.
