WHEN DEATH AND ONE’S PERSONAL JUDGEMENT IS A GOOD THING!

He needs our prayers. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

John 5:29
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Another interesting thing to happen during this Holy Year and the cardinals in conversation about who the next pope will be. McCarrick is front and center again, due to his death, and obituaries recounting his disgraces. God have mercy on him. But maybe the cardinals will chart a new course for the Church, away from those spirit of Vatican II prelates of which McCarrick was a major player.

And so dies any possibility of public trial, of names being named, documents demanded for public exposure by courts...huge sigh of relief in higher echelons of the Church, who most certainly did not have a trial for those reasons...and no justice on earth for those he manipulated and harmed.

I don’t think so. I have a hard time believing he was the only one involved. They need to protect whomever is left and support the new blood they have developed.
