pffft....you cannot even ban cell phones from a parish mass, the howling could be heard at Proxima Centauri. Everybody knows that at no time, in all of history, were people without cell phones, or we'd all be extinct....well, maybe not prisons, gulags, and concentration camps.
When I am paid the $4.2 million that McIlroy got at the end of the day, I will ban phones.
You don’t have authority to ban phones at papal Masses no matter how much you are paid.
He would need that much money just to go into hiding after banning cell phones at his parish, not much considering the plastic surgery, new ID, and security measures he'd need take...ban them from papal functions and he'd need volunteer for a Space X test flight to Mars, and even then....
