WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK IN THE 1970’S THAT NEW ALTARS IN THE 2020’S WOULD LLOOK LIKE THIS?????

Wonderful! Fine workmanship! A real Catholic style altar, as opposed to the secular committee style tables generally used today.

In the first picture you can see the altar stone which would also contain a relic.

I assume it's Lent with the violet tabernacle veil, burse and chalice veil. Then why the flowers? I thought the altar wasn't supposed to be decorated with flowers during Lent? Just wondering.

JR: Perhaps the picture was taken during pre-Lent (Septuagesima). The liturgical color is purple, but flowers and full-organ music are still permitted.
