Most of the funeral I celebrate in the south have a majority of non-Catholic in attendance. What I love about the Ordinary Form and the vernacular is that it enables active/actual participation in terms of singing and speaking the parts that pertain the the laity.
This is our Facebook live-stream copy of a funeral I had today of a 25 year old parishioner who tragically drowned at the family pool a week ago. Many non Catholics here, but a goodly number of my parishioners who helped to carry the speaking and singing of their parts. We only had two cantors, no choir.
The other things that I love because of Covid-19 and God willing, will maintain after Covid-19 is no procession with the offering, completely useless and time consuming and the sign of peace. This lends toward noble simplicity which Vatican II asked to happen to the renewal of the Liturgy, noble simplicity not useless activity.

Catholics always forget the responses at Wedding and Funeral Masses......
May God Have Mercy on his soul and bring comfort go his family.
I just realized that the parishioner was not identified as a man or a woman. May God have mercy on their soul and comfort the family.
