ISN'T IT ACTUALLY POLARIZATION CAUSED BY THE CHANGES PROGRESSIVES CRAM DOWN THE THROATS OF THE MAJORITY THAT IS THE PROBLEM AND NOT THE HERESY OF MANICHEISM?

This article is in Crux this morning:

Manichean-style hatred must be resisted on both left and right

A recent 'La Civiltà Cattolica' article denounced an 'ecumenism of hate' in the U.S. between fundamentalist Evangelicals and 'Catholic Integralists,' but Charles Camosy says that ironically, the article trafficked in the very dualistic thinking it denounced, and that 'Manichean poison' of either left or right damages the Body of Christ.

There is no "bridge" between devout orthodox Catholics and LGBT, pro-abortion, etc. faux Catholics other than repentance, Confession, and a change of life style on the part of the fasux Catholics. To suggest that there is is nonsense.
I think his use of Manicheism is off the wall. It does not have anything to do with political differences. It is a theological heresy that still hangs around in subtle ways.

I remember at about the time Malcolm Muggeridge converted to Catholicism we had a lecturer at university who had left the priesthood and ended up a Marxist atheist claim he was not surprised Muggeridge, as the 20th century's best spokesman for the Manichaen heresy, had chosen towards the end of his life to be received into the Catholic church.
People laughed. I still don't know what point he was making or what was funny about what he said.
