THE SINGING NUN!

I'm not even going to express my opinions regarding the nun singing and unseemly gesturing as she did in the holy habit. All I'm going to say is remember Jeanine Deckers . It won't end pretty.

I don't know. She's got talent. Best she uses it than burying it. Maybe it can do some good. No blaspheming done. All those on the panel was ultra-cool. She shows up in humble habit and belts it out. Is it gimmicky? maybe, but pop culture loves this kind of stuff. She is the counter culture, with talent to back it up.

When I first saw this I was so hoping that she was singing an aria from some opera or oratorio. Sadly, that was not the case.

She should never have entered the convent and to me it's a complete mockery of religious life.

She is a disgrace to religious life. Her actions have yet lowered the Faith into the mud. The only reason she is a "hit" is because she is wearing a habit that symbolizes everything the world hates and mocks. And religious life is being mocked. Have no doubt about that.

Why does that nun have the time to appear on a TV show. Why isn't she teaching children. Why isn't she feeding the hungry. Why isn't she visiting the elderly and cooking their supper. Why isn't she in the chapel praying for those people. She and those other nuns have that much free time that they can go on a show that stands in opposition to everything the Church teaches. It's a scandal. Religious are supposed to be extraordinary examples of what it means to live a life that mirrors Christ Himself. I saw very little of that. The gyrating and hand gestures were a source of scandal for which she is going to have to answer when she stands before God. The Church is falling apart and she does this. It's beyond understanding.

Pure garbage. And, why support something with a collection of freaks and misfits like those judges. Utterly disgusting…and we can't understand what is wrong with the Church? Give me a break!

She did nothing disgraceful, disrespectful, lewd, licentious or scandalous. Believe it or not, nuns are allowed be fully human - including using their God-given talents.

It might be a bit unusual, but this could be part of the new evangelization: we have to get people to listen before they can bc converted.
