While nothing that the SSPX has done has compromised its sacraments, except those which require canonical imprimaturs from the Church, the line in the sand they crossed that made them truly schismatic was the illicit, but valid, ordination of bishops. They, to His Holiness face, disobeyed what Pope Leo told them not to do. It was a bold act of schism, which in my most humble opinion, the FSSPX wanted and they enjoyed all the publicity surrounding their schism as a worldwide advertisement for their sect which they hope to grow. And it may be working!
We know that Pope Francis warned the Germans over and over again about their heretical and schismatic leanings. The Germans for their part, ignored Pope Francis or played the game with His Holiness recognizing the smokescreen offered to them by the then reigning pope.
Pope Leo seems to be a pope who doesn’t play games with the FSSPX or the schism, heresy leaning Germans.
What will be the canonical line in the sand for Pope Leo when he will finally act toward German schismatics as he has acted toward the FSSPX schismatics?
I think there are two possibilities.
The first has to do with the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony and its formal corruption by same sex blessings in a formal liturgical way. Of course this extends to all of the LGBTQ+++ desires for inclusivity of their ideologies and ideologues in all aspects of the Church, not only the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony, but Holy Orders too.
Cardinal Marx seems to be one of the candidates heading for canonical censure if not downright excommunication. You can read about that HERE.
The second, but related to the first is the illicit and also invalid ordination of women to the diaconate and possibly to the priesthood by one or more German bishops or others bishops from Germanic leaning countries. This has not happened yet, but in my most humble opinion, I think it is a very real possibility and perhaps in the near future. But I am not clairvoyant or am I?
Obviously, these bishops and those invalidly ordained would incur automatic excommunication. But at what point does it affect an entire diocese or an entire nation of Catholics? That remains to be seen.

Pope Leo should negotiate the end of the Church Tax. The German Bishops have too much money to play with. Matt 6:24 might assist.
Father this is all very well.But as has been said before-the Chicom Bishops were also ordained without Roman aporoval-and they were rubber stamped? This suggests some Episcopal Ordinations CAN be done without Roman approval although some cannot?(There are strong suggestions of financial support of Vatican in Chicom Treaty)Does that equate with Simony?
Like it or not, and I don’t like it, the pope approved of this temporary agreement. I think it stinks . But being Supreme Pontiff has its authoritative muscles. He’s not called the Supreme Pontiff without reason.

The Society has "enjoyed" reports that the excommunications have increased attendance at SSPX chapels. But I doubt that such is the SSPX's preferred manner to increase chapel attendance.
But I agree, Father, that the SSPX will continue to grow. I agree also that "Pope Leo seems to be a pope who doesn’t play games with the FSSPX..."
Pope's Benedict XVI had 'coddled' the SSPX as he feared that the Society would "drift farther from the Church." The excommunications have "cancelled" Pope Benedict XVI approach in question.
I would not be surprised should a future Pope restore Pope Benedict XVI's, not to mention Pope Francis' approach, in regard to the SSPX.
The current hammering of the SSPX will likely garner sympathy for the Society...as well as increase attendance at SSPX chapels. But holy Pope Leo XIV holds the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Therefore, as Catholics, we are called to stand with Pope Leo XIV's decisions related to the SSPX. That is what I will do.

Disobedience of the Pope only matters if it is the wrong kind of disobedience. It appears that the homosexual and women's ordination lobbies are the right kind of disobedience.
We may be called, but we are not required to answer in the way you imply. The assent owed to the magisterium does not extend to disciplinary decisions.
